Corporate Office – Titans Clix Media | De’UJA Designs | Ahmedabad
The titan clix media llp is designed by de’uja designs in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. When the clients approached our studio, to design their newly bought office space, their brief was simple. They wanted a cool and quirky new space, which does not take itself too seriously. Their staffs include young and talented people and they did not want the office to have a formal, more serious ambience. With this brief, they gave us a free hand to design the space albeit within their budget. The basic requirement included various functional zones such as reception area accounts cabin, sales cabin, human resources cabin, directors’ cabins, conference room, lounge area and other supporting services like pantry, washrooms, etc.
The idea behind the office here was to create a variety of spaces that will enable people to work in a way they want to work.
Here the challenge was to design such that these spaces could function independently but at the same time to make sure the overall space does not look closed and compact or compartmentalized. The entire office had to be coherent and follow a similar theme while allowing each zone to function with the desired privacy.
As anyone enters the office, they are greeted with a small reception and waiting area, which is secluded from the rest of the office with our signature grooving pattern partitions.
A small conference room has been made in this big space that the site provided which can be accessed from the waiting and reception area. This is where clients and other visitors can be entertained without them actually entering and disturbing the rest of the office.
A cabin space for the two directors has been carved out with glass and m.s sections black powder coated partitions boosting visual transparency with the rest of the office.
We have designed some chill-out spaces with yellow couch for employees to take breaks, have some tea or coffee. This yellow couch also provide a different work set up where people can work while standing up and thus encourage movement and a change of work desk. With offices becoming second homes, this fluidity and lack of rigidness are what we try to incorporate while designing commercial spaces. Agile working environments are truly the future.
The thing we had noticed when we first entered the bare site was the huge windows and ample amount of natural light coming in through them. This made us lean towards a more monochromatic aesthetics.
With their distinct persona, each material here is chosen to emit a peculiar vibrancy and ardor against the grooved ceiling and services. Even the floor clings to ivory vitrified tiles considering its ability to add a premeditated briskness. Modular tables were opted, with M.S. legs for their sleek characteristics, topped with a laminated grey surface.
The walls are covered with wallpaper which shows their area of work with buoyant yellow niches breaking the humdrum. The partition boards are magnetized in the same yellow hue with its multifunctionality to also work as a pinboard. Such a composition in this spacious arena generates a motive, infusing the qualities of team spirit and thus, ensuring a better bond.
The clients’ inclination towards art calls for a motivational highlight wall charging in the quote ‘creativity is intelligence, having fun, exemplified by a wall hung bulbs. A branched bulb tree with technical and geeky characters is totally symbolic of the work that these ITians are adept at. The profile lights powerfully emphasize this wall with a warm yellow tone.
Overall, this workspace for the new-gen ITians is aptly revitalizing and downright congestion-free; bound in a capacious volume. It truly addresses all the client stipulations while imbibing core work ethics into space.
