Singhania’s Residence | ReCreo | New Delhi

“A neo-classical theme has been followed in the décor along with shades and tints of various beautiful and fresh colours. “

Located in the posh society of DLF Capital Greens in Delhi, this high-end apartment was designed keeping in mind Client’s taste for a Neo-classical home. The design approach and theme revolve around defining a balance between the classical trims and door design and the contemporary furniture and furnishings. This spacious four-bedroom apartment, which spans across 2,400 Sq.ft. On the 25th floor of the beautiful township of DLF Capital Greens, Moti Nagar; New Delhi, provides a bird’s eye view of the huge landscape garden from its balcony. The apartment is designed from a raw stage and the entire civil layout is planned according to the family’s requirement. The areas of the house are expansive and beautifully open into huge spaces.

A neo-classical theme has been followed in the décor along with shades and tints of various beautiful and fresh colors. Few pastel shades are splashed here and there through furnishings and draperies an abundant display of contemporary artworks. The overall interior explores the idea of wood as a base material with complementary materials such as brass, glass, fabric, marbles, texture – pigments, etc. to enhance the patterns that reflect the family’s cultural beliefs. Artifacts and accessories that are close to the clients have been carefully placed along with modern elements throughout the house.

Upon arrival, the combination of wall and entrance door give the space a sense of subdued elegance. The entrance is marked by a sober door with pencil metal ring and arc which glorify by hanging warm light.

The living room exudes elegance through white wall paneling and wallpaper finishes, layered with sophisticated furnishings. This space is flooded with natural light throughout the day, creating cheerful surroundings while console near entrance is eye catchy. White transparent curtains and brown wooden grids pattern dominates over the T.V. unit wall in which fire place is also given. Two round mirrors with geometric pattern wall paneling and art crafts on console justifying the elegant work. While on the opposite side simple bookshelf is has been placed which complementing the huge crystal chandelier. And center of attraction is the modern Italy design 5-piece lounge suits with genuine leather and combination of arc sectional sofa. The living room is fuss-free with clean lines. The Italian marble floor compliments the mood of the entire house.

The living room leads into the dining room through a entryway. This is the most interesting area in the entire home. It isn’t just a dining space; it’s a gateway to all the bedrooms and serves as an organic meeting point for a family. The undulatory hexagonal pattern slats ceiling spanned across the dining spaces brings a sense of warmth. The grey pastel wall and metal frame with crystal art acts as a backdrop to the bespoke furniture in the space pronouncing elegant luxury along with a sense of timelessness. The top glossy dining table paired with cream-grey colored chairs complement the unique crystal hanging lights above. The wall on the right is embellished the lord Ganesha figure with light block-themed and the mandir is placed with warm light carving panel.

The kitchen lies adjacent to the dining room, appearing as a seamless extension. Its aesthetic is minimal, Reflective finishes, defined by glass-fronted and glossy cream cabinets and great texture of granite for the kitchen platform with the hanging shelf, give the space a sophisticated flourish.

The Master bedroom revolves around an almost circular and curvy furnished and bedhead wall with black fluted marble pairing with white bookmark pattern marble its silhouette is further exalted by the backlight effect, giving the room a futuristic twist with corner hanging light and also small place for working area with spot light cabinet. While tv wall, nova louvers panel with metal strip. Wooden base sofa chair near wardrobe gives complement to each other.

The second master bedroom for the client explores with pendent ceiling light and pigment grey colour with golden strip and nova wooden creating a geometrical pattern tangential on the backdrop of bed and also follow up to the tv wall and mirror. Unique sitting area with wall scons is an eye catcher.

Here in daughter’s bedroom client demanded neither childish nor so sober design so we went ahead with an idea of playing with the levels and bedrest is made in flute design with color doted white wallpaper with side spot light cabinet and study area, the design more uplifted by the fabric customized seating with tufting was complimenting beneath the geometrical shaped hanging light.

While all the attached bathroom is minimal in design, using light color effect marble with countertop basin with different shape of mirrors for respective rooms with light and cabinet beside it. Laminated furnished done with dressing area which shows the gracefulness of the area.

The highlight of the house is the outdoor deck which adds up vibe to it, and of course a bar with a view. As sober grey sofa side wall is highlighted by brick design with corner hanging light and the other side of sofa the mirror storage cabinet just bring out cool atmosphere, with nautical design the blue woodworker fashioned a special look with light shade marble shows the warm light for highlighting the beverages which is attached with mini freezer. And wooden slate work on ceiling with the mini crystal chandelier just giving fabulous outlook while outdoor deck wall specially design with nature to justify the ornamental work.

The areas of the house are expansive and beautifully open into huge spaces. Each and every artefact is handpicked and the house is designed to be really user friendly with easy automations. The colour scheme is simple with a beautiful blend of teakwood used in the panelling. The highlight of the house is the outdoor deck which adds up vibe to it, and of course a bar with a view where wall is highlighted by brick design with corner hanging light.
