In the heart of South Mumbai, a city throbbing with relentless intensity, Crafting Designs Crafting Designs turns the unexpected into the extraordinary. Principal architect and designer, Saneep Nemlekar, pulls from the aesthetics of joy to create a sanctuary amidst the chaos, infusing the living area with a bold pop of red. It’s a striking choice, standing out in a sea of muted hues!
Living in Mumbai is a full-contact sport—an endless symphony of honking cars, bustling crowds, and frenetic energy. This home, however, is a different kind of canvas. The designers conceived every space in a single breath, ensuring each room flows seamlessly into the next.
The living area features custom-made furniture around a contemporary rug from Jaipur Rugs Jaipur rugs, tying together textured walls, pale oak accents, and cozy rugs. The space is understated yet deeply comforting, with organically shaped furniture and touches of greenery.
Breaking away from the beige-brown palette, the kitchen boasts olive green cabinets that inject life into the heart of the home. It’s a bold move, and it works beautifully.
No Indian home is complete without a pooja room, a space to center the soul. This small but serene prayer closet is integrated into the main living space, allowing for moments of quiet reflection amidst daily life.
The two bedrooms, tucked away from the main living areas, offer a shift in atmosphere. Here, introspection is encouraged. Each room is distinct, tailored to create a sense of calm and everyday luxury for its occupants.
