The Principal Designer shares that the client envisioned a home rooted in extensive wood detailing while maintaining a calm, modern aesthetic. To achieve this, the design integrates tinted mirrors, black and gold metal accents, and warm-toned upholstery that elevate the overall experience. Each room is tailored to reflect the personality of its occupant, yet adheres to a unified material and colour language. Inviting Entry
The entry sets a warm, inviting tone with vertical teak slats forming a textured feature wall. A sleek unit with open storage keeps the space functional yet uncluttered. Integrated LED strip lighting casts a soft, ambient glow, subtly enhancing the richness and texture of the wood. A sculptural décor of an elegant door and the bespoke “HASH” name detail add a distinctive identity, creating a refined first impression rooted in contemporary elegance.
Pleasant Vestibule
The vestibule transitions seamlessly with a compact wooden console elevated on slender metal legs, lending visual lightness. Above, a delicate pendant light introduces softness and sophistication. Fluted wall panelling adds subtle texture, while muted tones maintain calm continuity. Carefully styled décor elements and stylish ceiling design transform this transitional zone into a warm, thoughtfully curated pause.
Refined Living Room
The living room unfolds as a sophisticated yet inviting retreat anchored by rich leather seating and an accent armchair in bold hues. A marble-top centre table introduces understated luxury, balanced by a soft area rug that grounds the seating cluster. A sleek arched mirror framed in black metal becomes a sculptural accent, adding depth, reflection, and understated elegance to the living area.
The TV unit cleverly doubles as a spatial divider, subtly separating the dining area without blocking visual flow. Designed with clean lines and integrated storage on one wall, it enhances functionality while maintaining openness.
