A Vision for the Modern Hybrid Workplace
When the team at Credensys approached us to design their new 3,500 SQFT headquarters in Ahmedabad’s iconic Venus Stratum, the brief was clear: break the mold of the conventional “desk-and-chair” IT office. In an era where hybrid work is the norm, the client needed a space that acted less like a factory and more like a hub—a dynamic environment for a staff that works remotely most of the week but gathers for high-intensity collaboration and team building.

Designed in a unique collaboration between 1:1 Design Studio and Krunal Mistry Studio, the project, titled “The Prismatic Canvas,” serves as a masterclass in minimalist architectural discipline punctuated by vibrant, intentional bursts of life.

The Architectural Concept: Industrial Elegance
The design team immediately identified the office’s greatest asset: its exceptional verticality. While most commercial spaces in Ahmedabad adhere to standard ceiling heights, this unit offered a soaring volume that begged to be showcased.

Instead of hiding the “brain” of the office behind false ceilings, we chose to embrace an industrial-modern aesthetic. The entire ceiling and its intricate network of service systems—including white powder-coated HVAC ducts, electrical conduits, and AC piping—were painted a pristine, uniform white. This “exposed service” approach not only adds a sense of raw, architectural honesty but also maximizes the perceived volume of the 3,500 SQFT floor plate.

The Material Palette: A Study in Beige and Oak
The project name, The Prismatic Canvas, reflects the core design philosophy. We treated the walls, ceilings, and structural elements as a “Neutral Canvas” using a palette of:

Subtle White & Beige: To ensure the space feels airy and expansive.
Oak Wood Veneer: To introduce organic warmth and a sense of professional grounding.
Exposed Concrete & Metal: To lean into the modern industrial vibe.
By keeping the fixed architectural elements neutral, we allowed the “Prismatic” elements—the soft fabrics, upholstery, and brand colors—to pop with surgical precision, creating focal points that guide the eye through the office.

Spatial Journey: From First Impression to Core Collaboration
The Reception: A Minimalist Welcome
The journey begins at a reception area that defines “minimalist sophistication.” A high-fronted reception desk features bespoke integrated lighting, set against a subtle white backdrop adorned with the Credensys logo. The primary “pop” of color is introduced here via a rich maroon eccentric sofa, immediately signaling the project’s color-on-neutral theme.

The Core: Workstations and Nature
The passage leads from the reception into the heart of the office. The workstation area is a symphony of coordinated services. Above, suspended profile lights provide perfect task illumination; below, Wooden LVT flooring provides durability and warmth.

The desks themselves are custom-crafted with white metal legs and Oak and Beige tops. A unique “Green Insert” was integrated into the table designs—dedicated spaces for planters that bring biophilic elements directly into the workspace to enhance mental clarity and employee well-being.

Private Enclaves: Transparency and Acoustics
The CEO and MD cabins are masterfully integrated using clear glass partitions. This maintains the “One Canvas” feel, ensuring that visual connectivity is never broken. The executive desks feature angular geometries and oak wood leg boards, paired with soft Asian Paints textures in beige tones to maintain the project’s elegant restraint.

For the Conference Room, we moved toward a more focused atmosphere. A bespoke conference table with precision-angled legs sits beneath curved-corner suspended lights. To ensure technical performance, acoustic ceilings and plush carpet flooring were installed, providing the necessary sound dampening for high-level virtual and physical meetings.

The Social Spine: Stepped Seating & Entertainment
Recognizing that the IT routine requires moments of decompression, we designed a creative Stepped Seating Area. This informal zone serves as the office’s social spine. It is where the team unwinds, shares evening snacks, and engages in social interaction. Equipped with a projector, this area transforms from a brainstorming zone into an entertainment hub for movie nights or team presentations.

A New Paradigm for Ahmedabad Offices
The Prismatic Canvas is more than just an office for an IT firm; it is a response to the changing nature of work. By merging the industrial grit of exposed services with the refined warmth of oak and the playful energy of colorful upholstery, 1:1 Design Studio and Krunal Mistry Studio have created a space that is both a functional tool and a work of art.

Captured through the lenses of the designers themselves, Prashil Modi and Krunal Mistry, the photography emphasizes the sharp lines and soft textures that define this modern Ahmedabad workspace. Whether it is the “Step Sitting” for informal chats or the highly engineered bespoke furniture, every inch of this Venus Stratum office is designed to foster the next generation of tech innovation.

Interior Lover Team’s view on the project
Where clarity meets creativity, The Prismatic Canvas redefines the idea of a modern workplace. Designed by 1:1 Design Studio and Krunal Mistry Studio, led by Ar. Prashil Modi and Krunal Mistry, this 3,500 sq. ft. office in Ahmedabad’s Venus Stratum reflects a refined response to evolving hybrid work culture. The design is built on a calm and neutral foundation of whites, soft beiges, and warm oak finishes, creating an environment that feels open, balanced, and visually light. This subtle base allows carefully introduced colour accents to bring energy and identity without overwhelming the space.
The exposed ceiling adds a modern industrial touch, enhancing height and giving the office a clean, honest character. Materials are thoughtfully selected to combine durability with warmth, while textures remain soft and understated. Lighting is layered to support focus, comfort, and a smooth transition through different work moods. Open layouts and transparent partitions maintain visual connection, while flexible zones encourage both collaboration and individual work. The result is a workspace that feels efficient, contemporary, and inspiring—perfectly aligned with today’s dynamic professional lifestyle.
