“Sheel” Bungalow named after spirituality of Zen has attained its shape through the concept of reflecting tranquillity. Amalgamation of simple and sharp architectural elements with equal proportion of green enlightens its beauty.
Flow of straight concrete lines with a tint of wooden play, overlaid by the shadow patterns adds magnificence to the welcoming façade. Dominating grey, use of glass and wooden texture compliments each other, providing subtle design focus.
“Vastu” played an important role in planning, while openings are strategically placed in order to obtain play of natural light and ventilation, easily flowing through each area which in turn results into an interesting play of light and shadow. Each space is designed uniquely considering the function and its sensitivity. Primary concept of designing was to provide a unique experience over each visit to the space.
The worship space and living area are blended in such way that a sense of serenity is experienced during each visit. Pearl white and blush pink complemented each other with the ornamentation of brass and warm light over the ground floor. While the kitchen follows the grey, dining area merges with the veneer.
A modern yet traditional touch over the arches for the living space is a place to hangout.
A self-standing staircase with wooden top and modern graphical patterns alongside is the design delight.
Use of fabric and the colours complements the deck and the arches generated there.
The master bedroom follows the concept of simplicity and luxury. With plain white flowing through the walls, minimal golden floral patterns over the front wall adds drama to the entire space.
Daughter’s bedroom is an ideal example of modern use of veneer with the concept of a cube emerging out of the room. Integrating a sitting unit with study table showcases sleek design details.
Son’s bedroom reflects unity in shades and fabrics while the white furniture merges with the flooring. Keeping the comfort and aesthetics in consideration study area is designed.
