The Artsy Suite – Office Interior | Palak Shah Design Studio | Ahmedabad
Concept
The client owns a designing firm that dabbles in a variety of areas, including photography, filmmaking, and designing. When the client is a multi tasker, it was a challenge to provide varied set of ambience in a singular set of frame.
Reception Area
The first is a reception area with a wooden panel enveloped reception desk and play of light within shapes on front wall provides a rundown of the design style. It also has a partial visual link to the main photo studio.
A reception room, a photo studio with vanity room, well-organized staff area attached with two cabins, and a main cabin attached with private theatre room were among his requirements.
Photo Studio
The photo studio’s walls and ceiling were kept low key to allow them to change backgrounds while shooting. A small vanity room has been carved out in studio area.
Staff Area
The staff area is well-organized, with a seamless light grey corian desk and white back painted glass on the wall that can be used as a whiteboard. The other two cabins are connected to the staff area by a glass partition that divides the appropriate section without interfering with the interior spaces.
Main Cabin
Finally, there’s the main cabin, which was created with the intention of being unique in terms of ambiance within a theme. Every color is chosen to emit vibrancy to the ambiance, creating a statement as a whole, framed by black flooring below and carved wooden ceiling above. The bright orange verticals on the front wall, which provide a showcasing area, are well balanced by the accent color furniture in front of it. A cozy theater room sits hidden from the cabin for purpose of virtual meetings and presentation setups for film-making.
The office’s design style was kept simple, with wooden paneling and a grey-hued color palette. As a result, black flooring serves as a bold backdrop to which other built elements stands out.
