Located in Dadar, Shivaji Park, Mumbai, the home embodies contemporary luxury with a calm, timeless appeal. A warm neutral palette layered with marble, wood, metal, glass, and plush fabrics creates understated opulence, while thoughtful spatial planning maximises natural light and ventilation, ensuring the residence feels expansive, private, and seamlessly connected.
The Principal Designer, Prateik Somaiya, shares that the vision was to create a modern sanctuary where luxury is experienced subtly yet meaningfully. Functional zoning was carefully planned to allow fluid movement while discreetly integrating generous storage. Layered lighting—ambient, task, and accent—enhances architectural features and sets the mood across spaces. Distinct seating clusters—featuring rich leather sofas, a sculptural accent chair, and a contemporary L-shaped sectional sofa create dynamic conversation zones. Modern centre tables complemented by curated artwork and wooden wall panelling add depth. Simple, elegant curtains allow natural light to filter gently into the space while maintaining a graceful connection to the balcony beyond. The composition feels elegant yet inviting, tailored for both warm gatherings and larger social occasions.
