Kiyan | Dilip Sharma And Associates | Vadodara
In KIYAN, we typically had to typically work on a modern living for 2 generations of the family with vastu influenced design, the young couple also asked for a possible way that makes the future repairs easier.
Hence while planning, all the toilets were shifted to the back and the pipelines were typically exposed on the back facade. Also they were in a particular line for minimum sunk slabs and minimum repairs.
The planning was carefully laid on a simple grid with a formal living room and a single bedroom on the ground floor with the kitchen, puja and store room, as we move on the first floor we open up in an informal living space with two bedrooms on each side and a balcony turned into a garden.
It is a house with a colour palette of warm grey and dark wooden inserts, with sufficient hints of yellow and blue that typically creates a good vibe all around the place. It, in addition, enjoys an excellent use of white, typically offering it an open and arid illustration with a contemporary look to the whole project. The house receives a play of natural lights throughout the day.
