A Construction Management Office in Surat, Gujarat, namely P.C Bodiwala & Associates established in 1968, follows this path with an interior that is largely clad in exposed brick and filled with plenty of Indoor plants. This juxtaposition ushers in the necessary warmth and balance, as the beautifully lit space welcomes the clients and employees. Numerous discussions and endless decisions, the Client Er. Harshal Bodiwala himself played an equal role in directing and planning the layout along with the Interior Designer
A building construction office true to its blood of work, comprises the core materials used such as Bricks, M.S and Concrete. The floor layers with treated concrete finish, a take on a light colour single-material cover to create a harmonic identity of the office. Large glass partitions along with lovely wooden furniture, defines the space inside the office. The simple white ceiling with smart lighting, ranging from recessed to down lights, thanks to the exposed brick clad walls in majority parts of the office along with beautiful indoor greenery depicting the clients love for greens, that have been used carefully creating M.S partitions and throughout the modern office for freshness and a sense of balance.
The Ethos of the office is based on the earthen palette of two basic hues and nature of the space flowing on the tones of them, creating a peaceful and harmonious work environment, being true to their ethics of construction. The essence of the office space is much credited to the indoor plants carefully chosen with the primary intention of reducing the carbon footprint, curbing the indoor pollution and providing a controlled temperature in the workspace, inviting positivity and a productive environment throughout.
The interior moves along the concept of spatial smoothness and flow. The segments have been designed and divided based on an open flexible office space and are glass partitioned according to their desired functions and transparency, justifying the seamless view and travelling of the light within the office structure. A layout of the waiting area complimenting the green partitions overlooking the employee workstation with a clear passage leading to the main two head cabins and a conference cabin. Each space respects the colour palette, textures, tones and the material used.
The Head cabins are spacious with a centre table made of M.S laser cut along with laminated storage table on the side, a sleek wooden door handle and adding life to the cabins are the indoor plants which play a key role in making the office a live space. The interior of the cabin holds a clear transparent view to the entire office, crisply divided by glass partitions, making the connectivity easier.
The wooden finish workstations highlight the entire office space with minimal but effective M.S partitions and soft boards loaded with planters. The green pops in the entire office making the space approachable and compliments the waiting area of the similar tone and backdrop.
A simple structured plan with the appropriate material and colour palette designed by NeoTrendz Interiors makes a working space more effective and an enjoyable one. The clean lines with organic pockets of greenery, leads to justifying simplicity and always keeping the allure of the work space alive.
