The ‘Game Changer’ Office in Mumbai is a story subtly nestled in the process of being given an illustrious shape to its space by the interior décor firm Design Curve Studio. Designed with intricate attention to detail, it has come out to be a very beautifully done commercial interior space. The office employees have an easy flowing and a functional space layout with the co-working space at the core and the cabins and other spaces bounding the perimeter. These are planned to increase the interactive quality amongst the spaces and their better functioning. Furthermore, the visual intertwining of the spaces while perceptually is increasing their dimensional characteristics.
The Principal Designer, Aru Patel, stated that the name of the project is ‘Game Changer’. The office, designed for a real estate company has the mix of everything. The driving force behind our work is to visualize concepts from various perspectives and witness them coming to reality, to promote freedom of design by helping individuals find their own personal style. The area is mainly divided into public, semi-public and private spaces elegantly.
Entrance
The glass entrance door gives a hint of design that is adorned with an aesthetically pleasing yet functional style. As visitors enter the reception area, there’s backlit signage ‘BE THE GAME CHANGER’ to give a positive first impression. The reception desk and branding wall are designed to reflect the company’s unique character, energetic and exciting at the same time.
The reception area is elative and rich-looking with dual tones and plush sofa sittings. The walls are laden with different styles of royal decor in an arched pattern. The vertical pattern on the reception table with bold touches of gold takes a creative form. While a modern L-shaped sofa and planters in waiting area accentuate the office theme.
Workstation Area
The workstation area is a pop of pine green on the back painted glass divider to create a wow factor which also acts as a stimulus for a productivity boost. The Neutral colour theme palette for the walls, ceiling, and for the flooring complement the interior space. Natural light comes through the windows all around to enhance productivity during the day. The core co-working space takes in the essential work desks and storage furnishings.
The material and color palette here reflect the office working environment. All these furniture units offer working comfort and convenience to the employees. It gives a hint of vibrancy and energizing colors embark a ravishing theme into this space. Designer creatively décor the walls with motivated lines and highlighted the column with a luxe factor wooden décor.
Conference Room
The conference room is a semi-private zone. The marketing room and director’s cabin is a private zone. Custom made wallpapers in the Conference and Marketing Room add a unique touch with the right colors and minimal distractions. The use of glass has been used to admit ample daylight and create an apparent sense of large spatial scale and volume. The intelligently selected modern lightings with sleek and smart looking lamps give it a very clean look. The wooden textured flooring and the conference table complement each other in a classy manner and create a good ambiance.
Marketing room
A captivating work environment is manifold in enhancing the work efficiency of the employees. This office goes beyond the conventional design ideas in providing an efficiently productive space. Hence, it sets an example with apt use of color tones, furnishings, and space planning for a coordinative work environment. The wallpaper adds an artistic touch with a sober ceiling design. While a modern symmetrical light fixtures accentuate the working space. The working desk and back painted glass panel create a calm working surroundings.
Director’s cabin
For the director room the designer has installed a dark granite top for the desk to add a touch of sophistication along with its benefits of everlasting working surface. The display wall behind with concealed lights acts as a highlight wall. The elegant hanging light just adds to the beauty of the room. The cabin is elite and distinctive with a propelling black hue to the chairs.
An abstract customized desk demarcates its nobility over the elegant ceiling with stylish modern lighting and wall racks. The décor elements curate ornamentation items that have been blended into the design scheme, allowing one to envision the pieces in their unique setup. Cabinet units & the neutral tone interior syntax, is enhanced by the presence of the awards of respective clients. All the artifacts with white lighting fixtures add charm to the interior décor.
Overall the designer achieved the results that their client’s wanted. The aim was to increase the creative energy, use of bold colors through furniture, beams and cabinets. Always keeping the functionality in mind and were able to set an experience of its kind to the user as well as the visitors. The variation in textures, brought about by the diversity in materials, creates for a truly enriching spatial experience using all the basic needs. All the elements, artifacts and textures used on a wall add charm to the theme of the office.
