Mr. Prakash Patel’s Residence | Zorbba Design Studio | Vadodara
This modern-day house skillfully showered with eye-calming design elements, instantly grabs the uninterrupted attention of the onlooker. A beautiful residential project is located in Vadodara, Gujarat, India which was well-knotted by Zorbba Design Studio. The client, with an enormous affinity for timeless contemporary art, wished to have a house that effortlessly personified luxury and royal décor. A contemporary villa design with lots of wow elements reflects stylish and calmness by using eye-soothing elements.
The Principal Designer Mr. Ritesh Panchal stated that the idea was inherent luxury and elegance in design without being loud and lends a sense of uniqueness to each space. Different materials on wall surfaces and light experimentation as standalone design features were used to define each space, giving each space its unique character. The idea was to create a homely environment that is comfortable yet stylish and therefore each corner of the house is designed with ultimate care towards making it very comfortable and satisfactory along with aesthetically pleasing.
Evocative of the simple, open structures of times past, yet possessed of modernity of spirit perfectly in keeping with a contemporary theme. The house blends rather than juxtaposes indoor and outdoor spaces in perfect harmony. The exterior palette has a modern-classic color palette finish, concrete facade, and the sparkle of red bricks pattern. Whereas the lighting fixtures make the structure a subtle contemporary house of which the exterior and interior style would last for ages because of its simplicity. The interesting play of material justifies the simplistic geometry of the house. The famous quote “Less is more” is quite appropriate for the language of this project.
Entrance
The entrance wooden batten door design guides you to the house that is rooted in a classic yet makes a modern age adobe. The main door is elegantly highlighted with neutrals shades like a grey highlighter, dark hues, and textures as the dominant colors are complementing the red brick wall near the entrance. The elements detailed on the entrance door design were characterized according to the language of the residence.
Living Area
The living room interiors are adorned with magnificent modern-classic furniture designs aiding in increasing the visual capacity of spaces. The boldness of white walls balances the subtleness of grey & wood furnishings elegantly compliments the interior décor. Grey upholstery sofas and a modern armchair accentuate a stylish round wooden center table. A simple TV unit is well emphasized with a beautiful console unit and artifacts. While the selected blind curtains, ceiling design, and lighting fixtures add allure to the living area.
Dining Area
The color palette of the dining area is perceived to be neutral with shades of rustic grey and white along with vibrant hints of blue furnishing. The subtle bold design of the dining area narrates both pleasing & warmth through accessories and a series of pendant lights. Wall and ceiling décor with geometric patterns accentuates the dining area while modern wall art elegantly emphasized the dining space. A modern marble-top dining table and blue upholstery dining chairs complement the ambiance. While white crockery/storage units well accentuate the theme of the dining area.
Bedroom 1
This bedroom has a lot to say with its royal ambiance, a grey textured wall with a floral jali pattern, and the use of marble as a highlighter adds charm to the bed’s back wall. A grey upholstery headboard in combination with earthy hues side table and dressing area gives a bold and serene look more timelessly. The bed and mirror design offers a royal appearance to the space while contemporary art adorns the space lending it a chic appearance.
The rustic wall for the TV unit is accentuated with a modern wooden console unit. A modern armchair with two blue tables creates an eye-catchy element. An elegant ceiling design and a unique pendant lighting fixture for the bedroom add allure to the theme.
Master Bedroom
The master bedroom is designed adore with contemporary tones of lights color palette and marble which pleasingly gives a modern luxury vibe to the space. The artwork and subtle palette of marble cladding wall with wooden battens on the bed’s back wall create a fresh ambiance in the space. A grey headboard and a modern bed design complemented with wall lighting fixtures. There is also a relaxing space with a unique design of a chair complemented by an elegant coffee table. Modern white wardrobes with window bay sitting complemented with a grey blind curtain. Designer smartly décor dressing area with circular mirror décor which is well merged with the patterns on the pastel shades of the wall.
The designer smartly ornated the master bedroom’s balcony for sitting and relaxing in the outdoor surroundings. Setup with modern sittings arrangement and swings are accentuating each other. While the master bathroom is also a bold statement through its interior décor. The wall is decorated with dual textured of tiles while a rectangular mirror is well-ornated with lighting fixtures. A globe pendant light is well complemented with earthy palette décor on the ceiling. While all the sanitary fittings and lighting fixtures follow the theme of the bathroom elegantly.
Overall, the project exemplifies an eccentric piece that ranges from architecture to interior decor. All the material palettes and furnishing creates a modern and classic look elegantly. The Interior has an interesting play of lights in all the spaces with very clean modern furniture. The walls use playful Italian marble which is in itself an artwork. To sum up it is an eye-catchy luxury contemporary residence with calm decor.
