An office space that amalgamation of modernism and embraced natural aesthetics. The client’s only requirement was to have a contemporary and elegant workplace look that ought to be eye-catchy & look energetic. A 1370 sq. ft area converted as stylish office space is a blend of multipurpose use of space with aesthetics. SSquare Tech Office elegantly décor by AR Architects led by Ar. Ruchi and Amit Seth in Smriti Nagar, Bhilai, Chhattisgarh.
The Principal Architects said that this office workspace was ornated on principles of modem elegant style, symmetrical lines, neutral hues, and intake of light were taken into consideration. By visibly incorporating nature into the architectural experience of the space, the design aims to create a place to work that responds to the immediate setting and the climate of the city, where the derivation is a well-organized office space with a modern appearance and radiance values.
OFFICE ENTRANCE
Upon arrival at the office entrance, the company name ‘SSquare Tech’ is emblazoned in brass with black hues as a backdrop. The main door and the wall are well ornated with a vertical luxury wooden texture element. While a black handle adds elegance to the main door décor. A passage is characterized that catches the visitor’s eye with its rustic and greenery look. Whereas company signage hanging in white complements the dark background. The wooden texture flooring and linear theme blind curtains add grandeur to the interior.
WORKSTATION
The partition walls are mostly glass with black framing, making the workspace feel interconnected despite the functional separation of the spaces. With a playful yet classy play of elements- the wooden linear ceiling décor with lighting fixtures are the highlights of the workstation area. The workstations have been planned precisely with different flooring, a rustic touch and modern furniture to create an energetic ambience.
In this workspace area walls have been designed to look different through unique features. A customised Tech Officetheme wallpaper with digital art has been used to decorate the wall. Very subtle colours in the entire space with an earthy palette have been used as per the client’s taste. Grey flooring working space area renders and complements the wooden furniture.
CABIN 1
The client approached AR Architects with a unique challenge – to create cabins that broke away from the norm of modernism and instead embraced an earthy, natural aesthetic. Using distinctive materials such as natural wood and bricks, designers aimed to give warmth to the space. wooden table and wooden base sofa with rustic upholstery highlighted by cushions that helped to add drama while still maintaining the subtlety of the space.
CABIN 2
In this cabin main wall is finished with a dark grey brick texture to complement it with metal and wooden finishes shelves. This seems to be the needed creativity to make the cabin look bigger generating the perception of depths by using clear glass doors and partitions for this cabin. Creatively design wooden table elegantly merged with shelves creates an eye-soothing décor. While all the artefacts are highlighting the brick texture wall.
DISCUSSION AREA
For longer team discussions, and planning and strategy sessions, one needs a cosy, cheerful space that has all the functionalities of a discussion cum meeting area. It needs to offer some degree of privacy, but ideally should not feel like it is completely closed off from the rest of the office. The comfortable sitting and different colour palettes cushions with motivating words let people get comfortably settled in for longer discussions. The wooden panelling walls, rustic theme storage units and eye-catching funky artwork give the rooms a stylish energetic vibe.
The office interiors are kept simple by giving more importance to the architectural experience. Materials such as wood, brick texture walls, shades of grey and indoors populated with easy maintenance plants give a natural feel to the space. Tactfully designed furniture pieces were introduced to add warmth to the spaces. Overall, the material palate was kept natural, with eye-soothing artefacts, to boost realism and comfort.
