Ibiza Penthouse – Luminous houses and a dream nestled on top | Bhina Wolf Atelier | Delhi NCR
At Bhina Wolf Atelier and Yellow Brick Road Studio, the designers believe that your home is your haven, you make your whole set of memories right there in every nook and corner of the gorgeous house you have made. This project nestled in NCR region is on the 21st floor of Ibiza Towns and you can witness in all its glory the Lotus Temple and Qutub Minar right from the balcony.
This 6600 square feet project came as an exhilarating challenge as the Seattle based owners wanted to build a home in their homeland where they intended to come back to family and their roots. The designing was done so as to incorporate both neo classical and contemporary look and feel, where both luxury and traditions held their hands.
At Bhina Wolf Atelier, we believe that the entrance of the house reveals the peek into the life of the owners, and here we are showcasing how the lights filtering through the foyer and the grand staircase builds a curiosity and anticipation for the beautiful interior that is inside the house.
The house is the embodiment of opulence and style, as you can witness the beautiful living room covered in various hues and shades of white and a pop of color here and there. The room offers a timeless and sophisticated aesthetic that blends historical references with a contemporary sensibility. It creates an atmosphere of refinement, order, and grace, evoking a sense of grandeur and elegance.
The penthouse showcases life size paintings of ghazals and shayaris of the renowned poet Sahir Hoshiarpuri, who also happens to be the grandfather of the owner. And, on the other hand you can find the most unique and soothing painting in blue with fishes designed exclusively and is one of its kind. The painting depicts the process of birth, life, and death in one form.
The grand chess across the pool table was designed specifically as per the refined taste of the lady of the house and her opulent approach towards living the life. While the simple concept behind this design was to instil a sense of entertainment, the overlooking balcony and lights fetches the softness of evening and morning calm into the room and the home.
The designing of dining area was to be done considering the owner’s love for grandiose chandeliers and statement decorative pieces. The space with muted colour palette was the brilliant choice as serving the Indian and Mediterranean cuisine added all the colours and transformed the room into a piece of art.
The 6 bedrooms were designed specific to the occupant’s penchant for their own charm and style.
Two of the bedrooms designed reflects true neo classical space. The rooms are adorned with tasteful accessories. Mirrors with ornate frames, classical sculptures, urns, vases, and busts of ancient figures are some amazing decorative items that made this corner an artwork depicting classical themes, and portraits.
Despite being of the same design inspiration, both the rooms are completely different in look and feel. That came as a daunting task as both the room owners are of two different generations with a different approach on designing and style. We made it possible after a detailed and month long planning and then yearlong execution on designing peacock inspired famous Blue Room of the house. The room takes you back to the Victorian era with a small seating space meant to entertain guests.
The master bedroom with the grand bed, beautiful paintings of the baby of the house (and yes we do see the owner’s Rolls Royce in one of them), and grand dressing overlooking balcony and green foothills of Aravali is a beautiful embodiment of both the man and the lady of the house. That came as a task as every corner was designed to encompass both yin and yang while maintaining the neo classical theme of the house
The study cum bar room, is a place that is close to owner’s heart as he always wanted a corner in the house where his dreams take the form of planning and reality. Growing up in a modest family with limited means and then visualising the dreams to own and decorate his own penthouse right at the top of the world was a driving factor throughout the three decades of his life
The designing of this room was done keeping only his vision in mind and the colors were used to instil a sense of inspiration and motivation while not making the room too dark. The flow of natural light in the room made it the perfect corner for study room.
The home in its all splendour and grandiose depicts that life is a journey and is meant to be lived in the manner it has been designed, bright and open at some parts and soft with warmth at some.
Interior Lover Team’s View on the Project
This artisan residence is a penthouse of 6600 sq. ft. area located in Delhi NCR region on the 21st floor of Ibiza Town well knotted by Bhina Wolf Atelier. The material palette is kept subtle by the interior designers keeping in mind to create a space that is pleasurable for them. Delicately merging the sense of nature as well as geometric patterns elegantly complementing each element. The alluring interiors of this project belong to the Neoclassical theme of interior design, which is a combination of Greek and Roman styles. It is really about complete harmony, balance, and arrangement in this eye-pleasing decor. Contemporary neoclassical interior design is currently one of the well-liked styles today. Excessive ornamentation gave way to symmetry and subdued colour palettes in interior design. Because of these decorative features little decoration, like columns and elaborate cornices, took the spotlight. Modern updates to neoclassical architecture also include opulent contemporary accents. In contrast to the extravagant displays of riches with a greater emphasis on refinement and sophistication.

Bhina Agnihotri Wolf, the founder of Bhina Wolf Atelier, Seattle based Interior Design Studio, has grown up in a family of great artisans, her grandfather was a carpenter, and she grew up observing in fascination his work and art. As a kid she always felt mesmerised when a log of food transformed into the most treasured cabinet, cupboard, couch, or swing in someone’s home. The footprints of her ancestors marked a great pathway for her and her brother, Ar. Deepak Agnihotri, to follow.
Bhina Wolf Atelier was curated with the primary objective to look for solace in designing homes and fulfilling the dreams. When Yellow Brick Road Studio came into being with its sister organisation, Bhina Wolf Atelier LLC with an aim to design luxurious and exclusive homes across the continents. The two organisations headed by Bhina Agnihotri Wolf in Seattle, USA and Deepak Agnihotri in Delhi, India turned to be a top-notch design machine where they are not just building and designing homes but also dreams and ambitions.
