That is how the designers at Karan Bir Design Studio – KBDS approached the design of their project: Rup Makeover and Nail Studio in Bhandup, Mumbai. A Budget-oriented project that utilized each nook and corner of the space, considering the fact that it is just a 200 sq. ft., interior space. Prioritizing the Client’s requirement of aesthetic themed Interiors, that emphasized simplicity and elegance, optimizing natural light with no compromise on functionality.
The Principal Designers, Karanbir Singh shares that A Simple, Easy-Breezy, Airy Makeover and Nail Studio seamlessly combines functionality, sophistication and a sense of spaciousness. Adding graphics with easily blend with the theme and nature of the project, we also added a dash of greens to create a biophilic sense of atmosphere. The use of colour palettes immensely added life to this project by showing its true colour.
The main entrance door is designed in such a way that it connects people visually to the surroundings through a glass frame. The challenge was to make it blend seamlessly with the luxurious space without taking the elegance away. The creative art and fluted texture play on the wall along with the ceiling silently adding that dimensional edge to the space. The interior design of this salon is an exquisite blend of modern elegance and inviting warmth, creating a serene and rejuvenating ambience for every visitor.
The graphic wallpaper near an entrance wall and on a ceiling is well accentuated with the interior theme of this studio. The modern stylish nail art table adds an eye-catchy element for the visitors. While the designer creatively designs the table with the proper use of lighting fixtures. The colour combination of plain white and marble texture material highlights the space elegantly.
The wooden texture flooring and linear pattern modern ceiling ornamentation add allure to the décor. The sitting area with a leatherette cushion bench that complements the white theme wall colour. The opposite wall is ornated with shelves to showcase the collection of nail paints for the client’s customers. The designer smartly plays with the lighting fixtures which highlight each element elegantly.
The Wooden French blind curtain and framed screen were used as a partition for the makeover area which is well-ornated by the designers. The wall is décor with a vertical artificial lush green with floral art which complements the vintage-French style window. White furniture and artefacts add allure to the décor. The colour shade works soothingly by refreshing and enhancing the space, and it stylishly merges with the concept adding to the desired sophistication and class.
Overall, the studio is soberly designed on a selected material palette and lighting fixtures that give a sense of calmness. Beautiful wall arts are introduced through customized wallpapers that help add liveliness and a happy vibe. And, this Rup Makeover and Nail Studio space stands out exceptionally in justifying the client brief and space offered. An outstanding exemplar of modesty, sophistication, and freshness in decor that stands for its class.
