Ingenious Office Space | Portrayal Design Impression | Surat
With The old dictum ” Tidy desk, Tidy mind” as their motto Team Portrayaldesigned the office space for one of the leading fabricsdying companies of Surat, Chinco Silk Mills, a family run textile business, established in 1998.
The idea was to keep the spatial feel tight, with individual work space available to each employee without getting immersed in it. The company has its strong vision and values, which area declared in such a way that this business house can let its patrons know about it as soon as they entered the administration area.
A minimalist design approach was adapted to give corporate look to the office with uniformity in palette and design. Fluted glass partition has been used as a medium to develop amongst all members of the office camaraderie and transparency in their work.
The space needed to fulfill the functional requirements appropriately without having an over-designed feel, the design team needed to incorporate all of the requirements of the client without cluttering the sanctity of the place with unneeded design elements nor enormous storage compartments.
Team Portrayal went with a muted tone of grey as the principal shade throughout the office matching with the ecru palette of the raw yarn.
“To reflect the progressive and coherent thinking of young businessmen, we intended to give the Owners cabin a pure, positive and powerful ambience to effectively work towards their vision.” adds the design team.
