The HomeBody | Nikita Arora X Designs | Delhi
The “HomeBody” is a 1470 sq.ft. residence situated in the heart of Delhi. Inspired by and truly following the lines of Indian Traditional Design Style-exotic, sophisticated and full of royalty. The use of rich, vibrant & deep burnt shade of red is used against a pale background defines the palette of the project.
Hints of modernism can be spotted in the space in the lighting and furniture used.
The Dining Area + Bar follows the same theme as the living room with an additional burnt-orange wallpaper on the main wall with lightly decorated niches. Highlight of this space is the personally customised handmade wooden + leather Bar Cabinet.
The rooms have been designed and decorated lightly, keeping them spacious yet warm. Therefore, the entire space gives a feeling of warmth and comfort through the colours- hues of reds, browns, golds with pops of turquoise+teal- used and furniture placements. The decor & details have been paid a close attention to by the client- luxurious yet cost effective.
All materials used have been sourced locally and are specifically handpicked making the whole space & process even more up-close & personal for the entire team.
