Aishwarya | Ennyesk Design Studio | Mysuru
Slice of heaven — in the form of a 6500 sq. ft., The grand elegant villa, reposed in one of Mysuru’s dense urban scape. Ennyesk Design Studio team stated” It is spacious, minimal and modern in style. A balance between aesthetics and functionality is achieved hand-in-hand with giving a minimalistic character to space.” The project reflects two far end concepts. One is the use of a subtle white colour scheme for the walls, floor, ceiling, etc. Other, on the contrary, is the use of vivid colours, textures and materials to furnish the space.
The architectural vocabulary integrates the principles of modernism with traditional responses to the local geography and climate. Aishwarya is a modern home in its true sense, it’s clean, simple lines with curves and uncomplicated design defines the space, which is homely, uncluttered and is a visual delight. Designer maintain well balance between the stone cladded façade with wooden cladded wall. A minimalistic and practical design approach has enabled us to hear the inherent quality and depth of materials through various planes and surfaces, bringing clarity and richness to the house. The free movement through the various living spaces heightens the sense of openness and grandeur.
A largely clad travertine marble-wall beside the main door welcomes you into this plush home with lots of planters which gives you a seamless and refreshing environment. The idea was to bring in the ‘luxe’ factor by using luxurious materials like marble and granite but in a restrained and understated manner. In order to infuse movement and dynamism into the structure, angular planes were introduced in both the horizontal and vertical dimensions.
ENTRANCE
With its simple design principles and a pleasant use of materials, a project validating the use of a decent and justifiable material palette to outline the majestic spatial characteristics is what the entrance door design represents. The foyer of this Villa allows for a literal peek into the grandeur if you can take your eyes off the gorgeous brown tone footwear storage unit against a partly fluted white wall. Sprinkling a little sparkle on the front wall with grey 3d embossed panel while subtle accents like a delicate plant in a white vase complete the look.
SPACIOUS LIVING ROOM
The foyer leading to the spacious living room which is adorned by OTS setup with planters and it complements the shades of the walls and elegant ceiling design. A pleasing Sai Baba painting, a statue of Lord Ganesha and Lord Buddha accentuated by beautiful planters and white background. It looks very rich and gives a pleasant experience to walk on.
The interiors have been kept simple, uncluttered and minimalistic designed in a homogenous colour scheme. An abundant form of simplicity was brought into spatial design, striking it right between luxe living and modern comfort. The TV unit design in a grey and yellow palette with groves adds the luxe factor with white drawers. While a gentle presence of vintage sittings with a wooden touch adds elegance to the space.
DINING AREA
The Dining Area plays with the light, giving a cheery ambiance to meal times. The dining space exudes spaciousness and privacy. The antique vintage style 6-seater dining, with a glass top with a wooden base compliments the décor. Overlooking a double-height as it is placed near a staircase, the design lets natural light is the limelight literally, with the crockery unit for the dining. The pièce de resistance in this design occurrence is the linear wooden ceiling design that defines the sublime.
KITCHEN AREA
Next to the dining area sits the kitchen, with a white top and a black belt that run as a highlighter. The L-shaped counter top benefits a longer workspace. Such an open-planned kitchen space becomes a thriving nexus for the personal enclosures surrounding it. The kitchen area is surrounded on one side by a state-of-the-art modular kitchen. It is majorly white and well-lit for convenient cooking, curating a unique form of modernity and classy with its neat design.
POOJA AREA
Pooja area is designed as an ornate backdrop with grey stone cladding wall with dark floor monolithic space. Here the pristine beauty of wall cladded stone was blend well with the pooja decor. The planters and OTS theme for pooja area create a stunning play of light while framing the views around the house. This pooja area is designed keeping both sentiments and décor in mind which made it look classy.
MASTER BEDROOM
An ensuite master bedroom, with the plushness of white headboards and white panels with warm light creates a royal sanctuary in itself. The combination of glossy white and brown with planters enhances the whole room and makes it airier. Opening up an entire nook for fresh air and calming greens, which creates gloomy environments into refreshing and energizing environments, is a winner for contemporary designs. It captures light from different directions and creates a modern aesthetic. Wardrobe doors, comprised of white sliders with a brown touch, continue to the end of the wall, complimenting the entire space.
LINEAR CONCEPT BEDROOM
White colours like Illuminating brown furnishing and Ultimate Grey panel made their way to this playful interior. The white-grey bed back wall décor with a vertical and horizontal pattern and the brown headboard is a sort of motivation chart. All the linear concepts are highlighted by warm light, which adds charm to the bedroom. A brown desk, accounting for a desktop and study area with ample storage for books and miscellaneous articles, was an essential requisite. A sliding wardrobe with a brown touch compliments the elegant ceiling design.
SPACIOUS BEDROOM
This spacious bedroom speaks of its softness and neat approach through a wooden staircase. It is scheme of lighting with an olive green and grey panelled bed-back, generating a catchy pattern by itself. The elegant white design of the headboard gives the space a unique identity. All these features and functionality come together to imbibe a classic touch to the room.
SOBER STAIRCASE
Natural light floods through the home with strategically positioned natural lights. One of the key features of the home is the wooden staircase with glass railing which connects the upper levels with different wall décor elements and planters. On the top floor, wooden flooring continues up till to the terrace door while circle cuts in the wall adds volume subtly to the space.
BAR AREA
The bar area is located near the upstairs with traditional touch. The combination of the modern bar area and a traditional swing makes this space more unique. The bar area is designed in a very elegant manner, where a wooden table compliments the bar unit in white with brown framing. While traditional swings with a vintage table complement each other. It is a perfect place to spend time with family and friends.
NIGHT EXTERIOR VIEW
The driveway acquires an array of integrated directional lighting while also acting as mood lighting at night. The planning of this residence is exemplary of inducing soulful connections within.
