The creation of The Modern Art Deco House made a perceptible home in its architectural way which is designed by VIDASTI The Design Venture in Rajkot, Gujarat. The concept of this house is to have an uncluttered enclosed area with elegance and a smart structure. A spacious 3BHK+recreational space was provided blanked into our hands and the client had stated of ‘modern artsy, stylish, neat chaos, subtle colors, creamy and rich look and should NOT look like any ordinary show flat. After working through certain requirements and shaping them into interesting forms, the team brought life into the space that can be termed “An Epitome of modern living.” words by the principal designer.
The Principal Designer stated that “After the project thrust off, we began with the understanding and shaping each surface with one another, we aimed to have functionality at the foundation while harmoniously keeping enough room for balance and aesthetics on the surface to fulfill the purpose of a show flat. As the project progressed further, we understanding of an emerging need to elevate the space while keeping the base symmetry untouched. That is where we brought the Arches into the space and the element itself being used in its different forms and styles lends to the symmetry of the space within remarkably well. One can easily identify the subtle shades of pastel used throughout the space keeping the aesthetics foreground. A well-built dialogue is narrated with the help of Modern Moroccan Geometry, Natural Browns, and Intelligent use of Textures. Wherever the eyes go, one is assured to get hooked!”
THE LIVING AREA
As soon as guests enter the house, the first thing that strikes them in the mini foyer is orated with the beautiful gold console mirror with a dark green wall backdrop. While the lighting fixtures and wooden drawer units add elegance to the décor and enhance the small space. The color sage green and blush pink in the Living Room is often associated with smoothness, decency, luxury, and ambition. Whereas the sage green modern sofa and blush pink chaise chair add an eye-catchy décor with a floral wall painting. This stunning design is an eye-catching, yet durable finish that reflects the family’s energetic lifestyle.
Designers believe to rely more on natural illumination. The balcony with sliding glass doors brings plenty of freshness and an outdoorsy charm to the living room. While there is a beautiful sitting arrangement designed just for the outdoors and relaxing with family and friends. An elegant TV unit with Natural rosewood veneer and a modern console unit accentuates the interior décor of the space. The implementation of a modern open gold shelf with artifacts and two modern mustard armchairs creates a charming as well as the modern decor of the room. Both the pendant lights complement modern rugs placed beneath the center tables boasting the stylish premises with an added drama.
THE POOJA AREA
The pooja area was created with integrated thoughts of tradition and modern genre. A smooth combination of recessed lighting beneath the floral jali coupled with a marble-cladded wall and white top for idols accentuates the décor. The ornaments in this place offer energy, and peace as well as a fresh start to the day; hence, lights, an arched tri-colored glass door, and design assure that there are no gloomy corners here.
THE DINING AREA
The dining area creates a treat to have this area adjacent to the living area and kitchen. Matching and balancing the marble-top dining table and modern teak wood chairs add up as a key to attractive and unique areas in the home. The wooden shelf highlights the dining wall elegantly and complements the dining area. The rich color of the wall adds panache to the décor amalgamation in the dining area. The modern pendant light and artifacts create an eminence in the dining area of the house.
THE KITCHEN AREA
The kitchen is the grasp center where you can sense the accomplishment with a thru view of the living and dining space. The white stone top is used in the service area of the kitchen with a modern stool and a modern pendant light which balances the décor perfectly. On the other lateral, the inside space of the kitchen was developed with shades of white on the cabinets and brown for the platform which accentuates elegantly. Together, lighted walls & beige white tile floor bring a touch of elegance with a striking design to this modern kitchen. The modern light fixture is considered to complement the kitchen’s platform.
THE MASTER BEDROOM
In the master bedroom, the velvet upholstery of the bed’s headboard felt neutral but rested to its true magic once combined with different elements finishing. This trend never took a backseat to defining breeze in huge areas of the home. The mirror is placed near the bedroom entrance which is accentuated with dark green and arched décor off-white wall. The modern armchair with a stylish table complements the pendant light and plain ceiling design. The wardrobe design is of profile shutters with fluted glass which creates a good ambiance effect. The back wall of a modern bed décor is Metallic Crinkle texture paint in gold and beige color which brings out the unique style and refined style of the bedroom. All the elements like curtains style, pendant lights, and furnishing emphasize each other.
THE SECOND BEDROOM
The vibrancy and energy were the core consideration for designing this bedroom. The green trendy color was included to throw a glimpse of liveliness in the room. The green tone backdrop makes the bed design give a chic look across the room. While the wardrobe has an elegant design with profile sliding shutters with fluted glass. A combination of light woody shades, a modern beige armchair with golden legs, and one wall highlight with Lime Wash finish grey texture paint created a perfect cozy but attractive room for the user. The wooden shelf with black metal framing created an intelligent style coupled with modern overtones well designed against the bed wall. While the style of curtains, pendant lights, and all décor elements add charm to this space.
THE CHILDREN’S BEDROOM
In this children’s bedroom, the simple accent headboard and wooden shelves amazingly compile the end-toned design of the room. The concept of defining light fixtures in the room gets a smart way to let the light travel all over the room. One corner of the bedroom is highlighted with wall art for bookshelves and a study desk. The velvet stool, light tone of the walls, and curtain selection by the designer complement the theme of the bedroom. The overall balance of color and wood furniture adds up a definite charm to this room.
RECREATIONAL ROOM
This room is creatively and uniquely designed by the designer. The family gets a free space to enjoy and interact through different activities in this room. The terracotta-finished flooring and décor on the walls bring out the spirit of the room. The tree shape in jaali allows for illuminating the room during the daytime elegantly. While one wall is décor with neon letters which are complemented by the unique ceiling design with black framed tinted glass with pendant lights. The edgeless wave shape flowing as subtle grey sitting with velvet pillows, tables, and planters enables people to relax and rejuvenate at their accessibility.
Overall, The Modern Art Deco House designed by VIDASTI The Design Venture has an abode amalgamated into a modern and chic house with accents of color, minimalistic, and art that break the monotony of the overall space creating a perfect environment for all the members of the family to relax and congregate in an elegant surrounded by stylish décor and liveliness. Decorative lights lend a contemporary look and make for an elegant design.
