Tranquil Wellness, a luxurious spa in North Delhi, is the latest project by Gunpreet Kaur Designs, completed in 2024. Spanning 5,000 sq. ft., the spa is designed to offer an immersive experience of relaxation and elegance. The design blends serene colour palettes, luxurious materials, and innovative lighting to create a tranquil atmosphere. With integrated wellness spaces and meticulous attention to detail, Tranquil Wellness aims to redefine the spa experience, providing a sophisticated retreat for its guests.
The Principal Designer Gunpreet Kaur shares that the vision for Tranquil Wellness was to create a space that leaves a lasting impression on its users. The client’s brief emphasized a clean and immersive environment, with the added challenge of completing the project within a strict 60-day timeline. The space was initially a bare shell, with no water lines, electrical wiring, or mapping, making time a significant obstacle. To achieve an immersive design, the team focused on using a combination of visuals, incorporating colors, lighting, and digital displays to craft visually captivating spaces. Sound was also a key element, with background music and ambient effects enhancing the overall atmosphere. Additionally, the selection of textures and materials was carefully curated to provide a tactile and engaging experience, elevating the space into a truly immersive environment.
ENTRANCE
The entrance to Tranquil Wellness immediately sets the tone for luxury and serenity. A soft palette of blonde and taupe woods, paired with luxurious bronze metals and polished plaster, creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. This carefully curated blend of textures evokes both sophistication and calm, transporting guests into a tranquil retreat from the moment they step inside. Plush furnishings and ambient lighting further enhance the space, offering a seamless fusion of comfort and elegance that promises a sublime escape from the everyday. RECEPTION AREA
