Located on the bustling FC Road in Pune, The Nook commercial office is thoughtfully designed by Seeduo Design Studio, founded by Nikiita Asrani and Kasturi Chipade. Designed to evoke a sense of calm and composure, the workspace seamlessly blends modern sensibilities with subtle colonial influences. A neutral colour palette forms a warm, soothing base that supports focus and daily functionality, while carefully introduced accents add depth and dimension. The result is a refined yet comfortable office environment that feels timeless, professional, and quietly inviting.
The Principal Designers share that the intent was to create a workspace that feels both familiar and forward-looking. Colonial-inspired details are reinterpreted through clean lines, modern materials, and contemporary detailing, ensuring the space remains relevant and uncluttered. Soft tones and balanced proportions were used to encourage calm and productivity, while pockets of colour bring character without overwhelming the interiors. Every design decision was guided by the idea of comfort within professionalism, allowing the office to support focused work while offering a sense of ease and understated elegance.
Contemporary Reception
The reception sets a warm first impression with a refined blend of colonial cues and modern detailing. A neutral palette is complemented by a striking black-and-white checkered floor that adds character and movement. The custom reception desk features subtle texture and clean lines, paired with soft pendant lighting overhead. Built-in wall niches display curated décor objects and planters, creating visual interest without clutter. Upholstered bench seating with wooden detailing offers comfort for visitors, while layered lighting, golden signage and textured wall finishes lend the space a welcoming, composed, and professional ambience.
Collaborative Working Hub
The collaborative workspace is designed to encourage interaction while maintaining focus and comfort. Wide worktables with sleek white surfaces are paired with ergonomic chairs, ensuring ease during extended work hours. Soft fabric desk dividers introduce privacy without disrupting openness, while integrated planters bring greenery into the workspace. Warm wooden cabinetry and overhead storage balance the neutral palette, adding depth and warmth. Linear pendant lights provide uniform illumination across the workspace. Minimal wall décor with subtle golden quotes reinforces identity, creating a bright, organised, and highly functional environment for teamwork.
Refined Conference Room
The conference room reflects understated elegance with a calm, professional tone. A large central table with a smooth, refined surface anchors the space, surrounded by comfortable high-back chairs suited for long discussions. Soft wall panelling enhances acoustics while adding texture and visual softness. Cove lighting and linear ceiling lights create balanced illumination without glare. A statement artwork becomes a quiet focal point, paired with a modern wooden console and table lamp for warmth. Wood flooring adds richness, completing a setting ideal for focused meetings and presentations.
Calm Director’s Cabin
Director’s Cabin 1 is designed as a refined yet relaxed executive space. A well-proportioned work desk with upholstered visitor chairs defines the formal zone, complemented by custom wooden panelling with integrated storage and curated display niches that refined character of the space. The seating area features a plush sofa and accent chairs, adorned by a soft rug, creating a comfortable setting for informal discussions. Framed wall art, artefacts and subtle décor elements add personality to the cabin while maintaining a composed atmosphere. Large windows bring in natural light and city views, while layered lighting and textured finishes ensure the cabin feels calm, balanced, and sophisticated.
Timeless Director’s Cabin
Director’s Cabin 2 presents a lighter, contemporary expression with a serene palette. A sleek executive desk paired with cushioned chairs sits against a custom wooden backdrop with integrated shelves and art panels. The seating corner features a curved sofa and a peach armchair arranged over a soft rug, offering a relaxed meeting spot. Minimal wall décor and framed certificates create a refined atmosphere within the space. Wooden flooring, indoor plants, and generous daylight from large windows enhance warmth, making the cabin both functional and comfortably inviting.
