Zenes Biotech Pvt. Ltd. is located at #61, HSIIDC, Saha, Ambala, Haryana, India. This modern building reflects a series of strong glass architectural facades. It is designed by Ace Architects Architectural Design firm and encloses a generously landscaped that whilst the western façade includes an operable louver to offer clever spaces, seamlessly connecting indoor spaces with outdoor and strategically positioned to offer abundant natural light and a range of views to open green vistas. Client’s brief was to deliver sophisticated elegant large-scale design. Ace Architects’ design approach was to create modern interior decor plans coupled with exterior facades and landscaped gardens, refined detailing crafted design, and a materiality of light & dark finishes enriching the spaces.
Principal Architect of Ace Architects affirms that “When the clients approached our studio, to design their newly bought land space, their brief was simple.’’ They wanted a modern and elegant new design while their staff includes active people so they did not want the office to have a formal, more serious ambiance. With this brief, they gave us a free hand to design the space albeit with a luxurious element.The idea behind the design here was to create a variety of spaces that will enable people to work in the way they want to work.
Zenes Biotech is a leading manufacturing brand for known companies like Hamdard, Pet Safa, etc. The building is divided into two sections. The former is an Office block consisting of Reception, Manager cabins, Workstations, MD cabins, a Conference Room, a Pantry, and so on; whereas the Manufacturing area includes Machine rooms, Laboratory, capsule manufacturing, Ointment manufacturing, etc.
The design of the Zenes Biotech-Pharma Manufacturing Unit building was dictated largely by functional requirements and consists of a simple rectangular structure clad with Glass facades and one side is treated with concrete cassette walls creates a sense of subtle to what would otherwise appear monolithic, while intensely incised lines across the façade’s surface further break up its mass. Glass facades are used to create an open environment that will allow natural light to come in and make it easier for workers to concentrate on their tasks. The interiors include luxurious finishes, stylistic furniture, and full-height windows which offer natural lighting and extended views.
RECEPTION AREA
In a largely linear and rectangular layout, the entrance foyer and office reception are skewed and elegant decor that creates a first-striking experience with glass doors. Generating sudden drama with a light rustic grey reception desk and cabinets that appear to be in eye-soothing motion, this space immediately demands attention with its proportions and scale. The reception area is elative and rich-looking with dual tones and light shade sofa seating. The walls get laden with a modern texture of stone and vertical wooden battens. The same conception of wooden batten runs on the entrance wall in a creative form. Setting the tone of marble flooring and material palettes through the reception area, a system of neatness, ushers the visitor in. Throughout these initial spaces, a plain ceiling and wooden battens walls create a good ambiance.
MANAGER CABIN
The manager cabin is elite and distinctive with a propelling brown texture for wall and furniture. While wooden panelling walls are highlighted with grid pattern which also continues to waiting zone. A modern designed desk with storage cabinets draws its nobility over the plain white ceiling with natural light in the daytime. Whereas, the selection of black chairs and blind curtains compliments the décor of the cabin. The waiting zone is filled with natural light and an earthy tone. A modern leatherette sofa and an elegant table complement the planter. A beautiful modern wooden staircase adds charm to this interior space.
WORKSTATION
The work space is simple and spacious, furnished by customized workstations made of wooden furniture which décor with two different shades. Designer smartly design working desk with drawers as per the staff requirements with black chairs. Unique design of upper wooden storage and simple ceiling design with black light fixtures adds elegance to the workstation interior décor. An elegant work environment manifold in enhancing the work efficiency of the employees. The minimal interior design is one way to create a positive vibe in the workplace.
MD CABIN
Facing outdoors the MD Cabin has its artistic, minimalistic, and contemporary individuality and altogether creates a unique and pleasant interior space. As this cabin is for the Managing Director of the Company, so the designer has kept the cabin as per the client’s liking. The executive table is exclusively designed to serve as a modern large table that meets all expectations of the user. It has a backdrop in the different textures of paneling incorporating random niches with storage below. While one wall is décor with a rustic grey texture which complements the cabin space. The floor is décor with pavements in different grey shades and the unique design of the ceiling is the eye catchy décor of this cabin. In one corner mandir is set up which complements the black metal framing décor continues with the TV unit and accentuates the leatherette furniture for sitting.
CONFERENCE ROOM
Conference Room the goal for this area was to create artistic and modern space where the executive and staff working there can be freely unleashed. So, the small artful details such as the stark blue colour circular art décor with company name which is highlighted with linear pattern. The floor is décor with pavements in different grey shades and the unique design of a modern conference table is the eye catchy décor. While an elegant ceiling, planters, and blind curtains add elegance to the conference room space.
MANUFACTURING AREA
The architecture of a pharma manufacturing unit is an important aspect of the business. It is not just about aesthetics, but also about functionality. The Manufacturing area includes Machine rooms, Laboratory, capsule manufacturing, Ointment manufacturing, etc. All these areas are décor with grey and white while blue is used as a highlighter. While flooring is treated with Kota stone. Architects make sure that all area in the manufacturing zone is well designed as per the client’s requirement. The vibe of this entire space is formal and sober, a place where the employees can feel at ease and work through the long hours in this spacious space.
Zenes Biotech Pvt. Ltd. is well designed by Ace Architects’ Architectural Design firm. As an architect really wanted to create a space shared and enjoyed equally by all the occupants of the interior space. Creating a new ambiance for a business is as important as designing the brand itself. The façade is made of harmony of materials which adds dynamism to the overall appearance. And of course, all the modern interior elements greet visitors is the face of the business.
