Ar Rupesh Patni, The Principal Architect of Shrishti Architects shares that the Hotel is surrounded by lush lawns and modern landscapes with a stunning view of the city. It acts as a canvas to highlight natural elements used in and around the hotel. One of the main challenges we faced during the design process was incorporating the client’s desire for modern amenities and functionality, while still maintaining the sense of connection to nature. We even had to achieve a sense of enclosure within the open spatial planning of the hotel. Soft sand tones are used as a general theme to achieve a single unified look of this hotel.
The concept of the project is to create a circumstantial building that fits easily into its surroundings and looks light, airy, and unobtrusive. This is a building that works well together with all elements of the surroundings and landscape, without being prevailing. The design team sought to create a luxurious and youthful ambience that retained the artisanal vibe of the hotel, using a colour palette of soft earth tones like ivory, beige, and gold and natural materials to distinguish the space from its surroundings.
The concept for this hotel was inspired by the beauty and tranquility of the surrounding natural environment. The goal was to create a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere for guests at the luxurious Hotel The Roman Park. This was accomplished through the use of beautifully detailed arches, incorporating elements such as lighting fixtures with bespoke exterior façade with stone accents which are mostly based on dusk and dark royal theme.
Visitors get a glimpse of their innate sense of design, eye for detailing, and modern refined approach when they enter the hotel itself. The heighted lobby and reception area feature a striking 3D embossed pattern in white on a huge curved reception table. Modern Italian marble flooring, columns latticed with a modern classic structure, and a gorgeous gold-toned jaali screening on a wall near the reception area. While a stone cladding wall for the reception area accentuates with golden elements which creates an eye-catching décor. The contemporary circular ceiling décor is emphasizing a luxurious huge crystal chandelier with warm lighting fixtures.
The restaurant was made to look like one completely connected space that flowed with a unique usage of different kinds of lighting fixtures in every area without making it look vibrating. The curve wooden batten partition is made to look very welcoming with a lot of niches and stylish circular ceiling designs that give it a warm vibe in keeping with the classic theme. The restaurant is well-ornated with modern floral theme wallpapers and wooden paneling which complement the flooring pattern elegantly. The dining arrangement is interactive and it looks very pleasingly with a majestic interior décor.
The cafeteria area features striking square patterned black and white flooring, columns highlighted with different décor elements, and gorgeous sofas along with modern tables. Bold, beautiful, and elegant theme with sophistication, is enveloped with variant kinds of wallpapers with a leatherette panel for a curved wall bench sitting. Wooden, glass and white panelling are highlighting it with warm lighting fixtures. While one wall is ornated with inbuilt shelves accentuated with a white background and warm lighting fixtures. And it is emphasized by the collection of unique artifacts which also complement the wooden battens ceiling design.
The ballroom space has rich sitting-style furniture pieces that do a brilliant job of adding a pop of floor carpet colour and adding personality to the space. With a total capacity, it still looks spacious and vibrant. An interior space with plenty of light entering through massive windows elegantly highlights with beautiful curtains. The symmetrical ceiling design and modern crystal chandeliers create a classical ambience.
The banquet interior décor tells a story in comfort and grace, endorsed with royal-style furniture and flooring selection. It has a soothing palette which enables a warm ambience through warm lighting fixtures. While walls and columns are ornated with wooden panelling and classic wallpapers create a self-effacing atmosphere. The stage and ceiling design gives a lively and eye-soothing look with modest chandeliers. Designer smartly décor this banquet hall where people do not need to add more decorative elements for functions.
The client was looking for a design that would appeal to a wide range of guests, from families to business travellers. To accommodate this, designers included a variety of seating and gathering areas and a mix of private and communal spaces in this Sky Lounge area. Every wall and façade of the hotel has been carefully designed, developed, or curated by a master designer, reflecting a synthesis of modern, maximal, and multicultural lighting fixture elements.
All the deluxe room suits design which has evolved in response to climate, lifestyle, and material accessibility, have been incorporated as a driving principle, reflecting elegant interior style. The subtle and nude colour palette has earmarked a royal finish in the interiors. The suites have a cosy seating area including a couch, a coffee table, and a side table. Even though fully furnished, it provides plenty of room for circulation with wooden textured flooring.
The overall design of the hotel is a celebration of royal and cultural traditions, offering guests a luxurious and comfortable home away from home. The use of natural materials, such as wood and stone, and the incorporation of natural light through windows and skylights further enhance the sense of connection to the surrounding environment.
