Modern Book Shop is a stationary business in Chandigarh’s sector-7, the Modern Bookstore is built on the built-up area amounting to 1,200 square feet. The project was completed in the year 2020. Normally for a stationary showroom, a well Spread area is most important to display a lot of variety at a stretch. But when there is lack of spread area and constrain is plot size, it’s a real challenge to accommodate number of variety and stock of stationary. In that instance, the design aspect is quite important, and one must think in new ways.
The modern book store comprises of a variety of aesthetically engaging displays, with a preliminary focus on optimum retail space, with the objective of creating a dream store for every book and stationery aficionado. The main feature of the showroom is the tree which is utilized as the novel storage and it was intended to conceal the Column which was coming in between the showroom. The use of brilliant colors has been used to create a space mood that also respects the material textures. It is separated into two floors, with the bottom floor serving as a showroom and the first serving as a store.
The owner is very well known in the dealing of stationary since years and we also wanted to promote the products at its best with variety. That is being reflected in the entire development of the store. There are eight divisions in the showroom: branded, office, school, literature, bags, art & craft, and miscellaneous.
