State Bank of India, a leader in Indian banking, sought a clean, rich interior design to cater to its High-Net-Worth clients. Their core requirements for the project included a welcoming reception area with a waiting space, a cabin for the head of the branch, a dedicated visitors’ lounge, a conference room, a separate area for wealth management officers, and a banking hall with space for the bank’s safe and locker rooms.

During the design phase, we developed a layout that revolves around a central space, effectively creating an open and inviting environment for the banking hall. The peripheral spaces, such as the head cabin, lounge, and conference room, were strategically placed around this central area to allow for the maximum flow of natural light into each cabin. This layout was inspired by the idea of a modern interpretation of a traditional courtyard, where the central space serves as the heart of the design, ensuring that all areas benefit from the surrounding light.

The design of the central area features a thematic paneling backdrop, thoughtfully curated to showcase works of art, recognizing the important role art plays in enhancing the formal ambiance of the space. The interior language throughout the project remains contemporary, with a strong emphasis on clean lines, rich materials, and refined finishes, ensuring an upscale, sophisticated atmosphere that aligns with the bank’s high-end clientele. The design balances functionality with elegance, providing a space that is both operational and visually striking, all while maintaining a seamless, welcoming atmosphere for the bank’s elite clients.

We used luxurious materials such as polished marble, rich wood paneling, and high-quality textiles to create an atmosphere of sophistication and exclusivity. The lighting design was meticulously planned to highlight the architectural features and artworks, enhancing the space’s warm and inviting feel.
