The focus of the design was to create stunningly elegant exterior and interiors through a meticulous composition of horizontal and vertical lines. Ennyesk Design Studio has planned opulent spaces and amenities and the finishes are carefully selected to make a unique statement of life exceptionally well lived. The result of “Kamala Laxmi Kunj” A residential villa is a relaxing and elegant sanctuary that has luxury and style.
“Kamala Laxmi Kunj” A residential villa situated in Mysore built on a 2400 sq. ft plot area with a 7000 sq. ft of built-up area. It is a south-facing plot, designed with simplistic architecture and interior. The main core of this project is the central courtyard, which is connected to the living, dining area & kitchen with a huge light well in the central courtyard. This house consists of four bedrooms with a terrace party hall. – Says by The Principal Designer
The elevation might look embellishment and elegant with its white walls, but this modern and contemporary adobe has a lot going on as it is comfort and luxurious. The glorifying grey texture stone cladding that shifts from front to side façade gives the house an appearance of elegance. The trick used to achieve balance was to have an exterior colour palette of white and grey cladding which gained access to keep things light while still providing plenty of contrast. In the balconies, designers use vertical railing shutters for security purposes in such a way that it just compliments the exterior look of a house. While it has a stunning contemporary exterior with dramatic lighting fixtures in a linear pattern. Lighting the facades creates dramatic effects that enhance the night-time aesthetics of a Kamala Laxmi Kunj villa. It complements the overall charm and adds a charismatic finishing touch to the villa.
To the left of the zero-proximity ground floor is the connected living, dining, pooja area and kitchen simultaneously with the help of our no barrier planning concept. Which perhaps is the best part of the design, one can view the whole house from the central point of the bungalow. A double-height space integrated with all the circulation spaces on the ground floor and first floor, is the perfect setting for high-impact decor The circulation space on the first floor has a visual connection with the ground floor living space, which enables an interesting dialogue between the two spaces. The interior of the house is very minimalist. Ennyesk Design Studio design each of the bedrooms to ensure that it matched the requirements as per client choice. The interior in the bedrooms are an interesting blend of colour pallets, simple line and coziness.
The main entrance gate opens into the porch area, which is ornamented with perfect tiling with greenery placement work and it gives the best first impression on visitors. Dark pallet marble is used for flooring, which compliments the mini lawn décor with plants. The wall near the main entrance door is décor with beige marble tiles which commends the floral jali work. The house is designed with large openings on either side of the double-height living space encompassing the benefits of natural light and cross-ventilation. Entrance from porch area visitors can see a beautiful wooden door which accentuate with the theme of off-white and marble as décor in interior of villa.
The living room has a double-height volume and it gets highlighted with simple elegant details on walls and ceiling painted in the beige shade. Custom made a set of hanging lights and spot lights spread out its arms randomly and fills the volume. The back wall of sofa seating is a long double-height wall which highlighted with metal customized wall-art. Tv unit wall is highlighted by Italian white marble and golden-brown belt which compliments the double height wall. While light cream comfort upholstered sitting arrangement enhances the space with marble top center table. All the interior material used in living area just enhances the floor tiles.
The main attraction in this villa is the central courtyard, which is connected to the living, kitchen & dining area with a huge light well in the central courtyard. A beautiful wooden landscape courtyard adds light and crosses ventilation for a natural feel. It is separated by a glass partition with a glass sliding door highlighted by marble framing from the living area. Floral white jali panels as partition, marble décor and wooden flooring compliment the blue upholstered sitting with plants. Floral panels are continued throughout the ceiling of courtyard. And to make a more attractive courtyard décor with pebbles around a wooden base and a strip of light is used around the marble decor. This beautiful courtyard also connected with dining area.
The dining area has a neutral shell and a spacious vibe. While linear ceiling with light fixtures add elegancy to dining area. The dining table with the white marble top with metal framing and base for six is great idea to place in near courtyard compliment the modern chandelier. While cream upholstered chair with metal base enhance the dining area contrasting with rug.
The kitchen, with a theme of white and grey features contrasting flooring. While strip-light under the cabinets glorify the floor tiles. The walls of kitchen décor with white textured tiles which compliments the sober ceiling work. The kitchen platform top is in grey colour while white is used for cabinets and the combination makes more elegant. The kitchen is in U-shape which is well equipped with all modern amenities and functionalities. On the opposite wall of the kitchen, near to the dining area, a wash basin is placed with a beautiful framing of mirror on the wall.
The pooja area is placed near the staircase and in front of the dining area. The pooja area is open to the sky so that positive energy spreads everywhere in the house and it is highlighted with jali work with Swastik. In the Pooja area idols has been placed on white marble and highlighted with strip light. While near that pebbles and lights under the toughen glass which accentuate the flooring space.
The staircase that leads to the upper level affords views into the living room, dining area and the main entrance as it is wrapped around the central courtyard. Thus, it acts as a bridge around the house, a centrifugal force. The corridors receive ample sunlight and give rise to a feeling of calmness and serenity. The warm natural light moves around the house, bringing about a vitality. The rooms feel alive with the correct balance of colours and natural and customized lighting thoughtfully planned to be used at the correct time. Essentially, all the rooms receive sunlight and natural breeze almost throughout the day, resulting in optimal ventilation yielding to a comfortable internal environment.
The master bedroom on the ground floor design with a geometrical pattern in turquoise inlay between grey panels with gold framing creates the backdrop for the bed. While grey panels are also highlighted with modern light fixtures and the turquoise panel is glorified by the use of mirror art in the center, which enhances the bed area. Translucent curtains are in a turquoise colour palette which compliments the white corner cabinets. While the wooden ceiling pattern over the bed with a modern chandelier in the corner, creates the main feature of this bedroom.
The geometrical expression continues over the bed headboard and drawer fronts of the nightstands and console. While a rug and a modern stool are a great combination with bed furnishings. The freshness and simplicity of this bedroom create a calm and serene experience for the user. The bedroom looks very spacious with the same theme of off-white pallet and flooring, which also add a lovely charm to the suite.
Designers follow a theme for the bedrooms with a white palette and ceiling design. This bedroom has a semi-classical language. The wall leatherette moldings of different colour tones of turquoise with combination of grey backrest which is a perfect choice for this elegant and spacious bedroom. The turquoise vintage sofa chair and coffee table with grey top and golden base compliments décor of the room. The use of light-shaded curtains and ceiling ornamented with a classy design creates an eye-catchy look for a visitor. Center wooden linear ceiling décor is highlighted by the unique modern chandelier which creates a contemporary balance in this royal bedroom.
While the other bedrooms’ décor, with the eye-catching decor in the living strikes a contrasting balance and completes the space. In essence, by the name of this structure, the built relates to the very basic elements of nature and the void spaces are played out in symmetry to the built hence creating a beautiful harmony striving to achieve a serene and peaceful living. All bathrooms blend well with the elegant theme giving a complete sober look with the selected sanitary fittings.
