This residential interior project Krishana Villa seeks to break away from the severity of straight lines and embrace the fluidity of curves in a 3500 sq. ft., area located in Adilabad, Telangana. Creating spaces that exude elegance, comfort, and a harmonious connection with earthy elements. Nestled at the intersection of classic and modernity, Rashmi Nilawar Interior Designer Studio’s latest project is a testament to refined living, minimalist elegance, and modern convenience.
The Principal Designer Rashmi Nilawar shares that this duplex bungalow is undergoing a renovation project that seeks to balance soothing serenity with lavish opulence, all while reflecting the client’s personality. Additionally, a double-height ceiling decor adds grandeur and serves practical functions, making it a versatile space. The outdoor landscaping, featuring waterfalls, extends the project’s harmonious connection with nature, infusing the entire area with a sense of revitalising energy. This renovation project is a seamless blend of aesthetics and personalisation, where the client’s unique character is expressed through every detail.
ENTRANCE
The design language consisted of repeating curves in various scales with alternative occasional forms to break the monotony. The welcoming entrance area is well-ornated with classy wooden furniture and a grandeur door. The white-coloured textured wall gives an illusion of hugeness, while the planter on a golden finish stand certainly appeals to the eye-catching element. Stepping into the abode, one is immediately greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere with a modern classic console unit and a grand illuminated arch formed by a wooden batten on the wall.
LIVING AREA
As the centrepiece of the home, the living area was designed with classy and luxurious décor elements. The monochromatic palette of flooring and double ceiling height mural wall art upon the entrance creates an eye-soothing décor. The wooden element is the highlight of the interior décor in this living area. The curved edge furniture like an L-shape sofa and armchairs with beautiful centre tables complemented with modern touch furnishings.
The elegant TV unit works as a partition for the living and dining area while a modern globe lamp brings a touch of sophistication, while artefacts add life to the space. Each element, from the entrance door to the living area, was carefully chosen to embody the essence of Krishana Villa – a contemporary and luxurious house for a modern family to find peace in the hustle and bustle of life.
DINING AREA
The dining area greets you with a warm embrace and exudes sophistication with a luxurious appeal adjacent to the living area. The standout feature is a captivating Krishna mural in the dining area, immediately drawing attention with its spiritual symbolism.
The interior design exerts a carefully curated colour palette of soft blues, pastels, and opulent gold accents to create an ambience of tranquillity and grandeur. A modern pastel-toned dining table and chairs with a wooden base complemented with a charming crystal chandelier.
The wooden finished ceiling of the dining space imparts a feeling of grandeur as soon as one takes a seat at the dining table. The washbasin area is well-ornated with modern sanitary fittings and a classic wooden storage unit which is well accentuated with an artefact.
MANDIR AREA
The combination of textures and materials enhances the tactile experience, inviting wooden mandir area. The wall décor inspired by the trident theme of lord shiva inlay sits perfectly on the arches created as the backdrop and focal point of the mandir space. All the different elements and lighting fixtures add charm to the décor.
KITCHEN AREA
The kitchen blends functionality with aesthetics, celebrating the theme of lines. The white marble top platform complements perfectly with the tones taken to represent the kitchen area. The cabinetry features illuminated edges, creating a more inviting environment. While pistachio accent wall is adorned with warm lighting fixtures in this modular kitchen.
LOUNGE AREA
The lounge area near the modern staircase is elegantly allured with blue furnishings. A modern earthy staircase serves as a prominent striking feature in the home, adding elegance and functionality to the overall design. The wooden partition with storage and a modern lighting fixture divides the living and lounge areas elegantly. A modern sofa complemented with dual-tone curtains while a modern circular centre table adorned the lounge area décor.
The designer creatively ornated the area under a staircase with a pleasing décor element. Selected decorative artefacts are well accentuated with stone cladding background and lighting fixtures emphasised by a wooden platform in this staircase area.
AESTHETIC MASTER SUITE
The aesthetic master suitewas kept Contemporary and eye-soothing ornamentation. Accents of strip gold on the marble cladding wall are well complemented with a pleasing texture wall for the bed’s back wall completing the look. The modern bed design and a circular mirror add charm to the bedroom interior décor with modern lighting fixtures. The colour combination of pink pastel texture and grey-white highlight the TV unit pleasingly in this bedroom.
The bathroom is well ornated with walls cladding in different accents and glossy stone finishes making the bathroom look spacious and useful at the same time.
ACCENTED BEDROOM
Venturing into this accented bedroom, each step is welcome to wooden textured flooring and artistic panelling on the walls, creating an atmosphere of refined luxury. The serene teal green colour theme harmonizes beautifully, turning the master bedroom into a special oasis of tranquillity and comfort. The full-height headrest with wooden panelling and symmetrical mirrors adds elegance to the bed’s wall décor. The selected lighting fixtures, curtains and artefacts complement the bedroom interior decor.
The geometrical pattern highlights the TV unit wall with modern furniture and wall art. The selected tones add pleasantness and elegance to the space with circular decorative elements. The washroom is well ornated with the different tones of colour palettes for cladded tiling on walls. The storage unit in this modern bathroom is designed in dual-tone with a curved mirror whereas lighting fixtures add allure to the bathroom décor.
