Rashmi Nilawar aninterior designer studioornated this elegant accented residential apartment interiors, located in the orange city of Nagpur, Maharashtra. The luxurious apartment with a carpet area of 2500 sq. ft., is aesthetically decorated with modern earthy interiors along with a contemporary vibe. The theme of a house gives a sense of comfort and luxury which creates an eye-soothing decor.
The Principal Designer Rashmi Nilawar shares that the client brief required that the interiors should pleasing to the eye and also soothe the atmosphere. Creating a simple, practical and uncluttered space was our line of action. The palette of Italian marble, veneer and subtle shades of colour scheme was the designer’s thoughtful choice to bring elegance and make the space seem large and warm.
ENTRANCE
The entrance to the unit showcases a geometrical shape with wooden panelling done in dual tone. The main door exhibits grandeur in its elegant symmetrical décor which is also complemented with a metal floral wall art. A stone-cladded wall near the entrance adds a touch of elegance to create a serene atmosphere. While ceiling décor is well emphasized with a modern eye-catching lighting fixture.
CONTEMPORARY LIVING AREA
As one enters, the living room unfolds itself in an earthy tone of white and brown. A modern partition next to the entrance elegantly maintains privacy and connectivity which is also highlighted by modern lighting fixtures and planters. While wall near the main door is ornated with linear patterns panelling pleasingly. The elegant ceiling décor lights in the living room well illuminate the contemporary interior décor.
The unique selection of modern sofas and armchairs with different upholstery patterns and styles accentuated with a modern centre table. The stylish TV unit wall is ornated in the dual colour palette along with a feature of Italian marble exudes a sense of luxury. Minimalistic décor along with selected artefacts and the hues of green add freshness to the aesthetic of this living area.
ELEGANT DINING AREA
The living room leads into the dining room which gives a sense of true supremacy. The marble-top modern dining table with a wooden base is complemented with leatherette dining chairs. The sober white ceiling spanned across the dining spaces brings a sense of warmth and elegance. The modern wooden storage unit as a partition for the mandir area is well-ornated in a brown and white colour palette elegantly. The modern wash basin décor is well highlighted with wall texture and wooden batten panelling which is complemented with lighting fixtures and mirror selection.
MANDIR AREA
The mandir area is adjacent to the living and dining area gracefully. The eye-soothing arched décor with traditional touch pillars complemented with golden hues. The wall is well-ornated with a pleasant texture and inlay circular and floral artwork with golden hues adds allure to the décor. The wooden partition is ornated with bells and a glass door with a wooden frame follows the theme of the interior décor. The elegant ceiling design is accentuated with a modern crystal chandelier in a warm lighting fixture creating a peaceful ambience.
EYE-SOOTHING KITCHEN AREA
The kitchen lies adjacent to the dining room, appearing as a seamless extension. Its aesthetic is minimal, Reflective finishes, defined by glossy cabinets and fusion pearl granite for the kitchen platform, give the space a sophisticated flourish. The modern eye-soothing breakfast counter with two stylish high stools adds charm to the décor.
MASTER BEDROOM
The master bedroom is ornated in such a way that all the decorative elements and furniture complement each other. The high spot of the room is focused on the bed’s wall which gives a contemporary look, set off in a tabular theme cushion headrest in beige with glass copper finish panelling, with simple lighting fixtures to give a thematic look. The rest of the walls and flooring are done up in a light colour palate, to allow the focus on the working desk with pop-up upholstery chair. The wall of the working desk is ornated with a patterned wallpaper which adds allure to the décor. The other décor elements like window bay sitting, sliding modern wardrobe and artefacts enhance the bedroom interior décor.
ACCENTED BEDROOM
This spacious accented bedroom with modern and earthy theme interiors. The blush purple palette with a mix of different textures gives a classic look. The modern wooden bed with a purple tufted headboard and window framing gives a good ambience with modern lighting fixtures. A grey modern wardrobe and different hues of linear panelling with wooden panelling for the bed’s wall add allure to the décor. while decorative elements like curtains, pendant lights, wall art and artefacts enhance the bedroom décor.
KIDS’ BEDROOM
Earthy with pastel hues and a pop-up yellow colour palette, with minimal style, this kids’ bedroom design has a cheerful vibe. A fun and vibrant kids’ bedroom featuring pastel-inspired colours, playful accents, and cosy bunk beds perfect for siblings or sleepovers. The bed’s cushioned headrest with inbuilt storage and window bay sittings balances the décor stylishly. A study unit with pop-up colours and fun elements in study table design adds charm to the décor. A modern ceiling design and lighting fixtures add charm to the décor.
The attached modern bathroom designs follow the theme of bedroom interior décor respectively. It features a wall-mounted, white finish counter with in-built storage. A countertop white finish basin goes well with the wall tiles on the basin backdrop, while a round mirror with a backlight looks phenomenal.
This tropical balcony is highlighted by the wooden false ceiling with grey texture flooring. Wooden wall planter gives a touch of nature and elegance. All the decorative elements give warmth and pleasant vibes. Modern black chair with orange cushion provides minimalist comfort and style. While lighting fixtures for the ceiling give a soothing ambience during the night.
Another balcony follows the same tropical theme décor with wooden flooring and wooden illuminating decorative elements. The wall features white parallel belts running from the ceiling and the serenity wall art gives a dramatic look with a modern swing which offers the perfect spot to sit back and relax.
Overall, this modern luxurious residence is crafted with an inspiration of contemporary art presented in modern furnishings. Right from the entrance to the entire house colour and furniture selection to the wall panelling style, teamed up with modern artworks and artefacts. The Material pallet is timeless and eventually will age gracefully. The designers envisioned strives to become a minimalistic and practical escape from the usual hustle and bustle of day-to-day life. The space celebrates natural material, providing a quiet, comfortable and pleasant ambience.
