Arihant Group Office | Build Plus Civil Consultancy | Gandhidham

The Arihant Group Office at KASEZ, Gandhidham Gujarat, was envisioned and designed by Build Plus Civil Consultancy under the leadership of Er. Nehal S. Mehta stands as a refined response to an exceptionally narrow and deep site. Defined by a frontage of just 10 feet 6 inches and a depth of 108 feet, the project presented a compelling design challenge. Instead of resisting these constraints, the approach embraced them with clarity and intent, transforming limitations into opportunities while shaping a workspace that feels composed, efficient, and architecturally confident.

The Principal Designer shares that the true essence of the project lies not in accommodating requirements but in crafting a spatial experience that feels seamless and intuitive. The elongated proportion was carefully orchestrated as a purposeful journey, allowing movement, light, and spatial transitions to unfold with quiet elegance. Each layer was thoughtfully calibrated to maintain visual continuity and functional clarity, ensuring the environment remains open, fluid, and balanced. In doing so, the design elevates constraint into a defining architectural narrative of precision and poise. With precision in interior detailing, balanced design thinking, and the team’s sincere dedication transformed limitations into a seamless and elevated outcome.

Structured Elevation

The exterior is defined by a refined interplay of materials and proportions, with perforated copper-toned ACP panels wrapping the upper volume, adding depth and a distinctive visual identity to the façade. The lower structure is kept minimal with smooth plastered surfaces, allowing the cladding to stand out. Rounded edges soften the mass, while the MS-framed canopy and structured staircase introduce a welcoming gesture. Every element, from panel articulation to material contrast, is precisely detailed to give the narrow frontage a strong and confident architectural identity.

The entrance combines functionality with visual lightness through glass railings, MS supports, and stone-finished steps. A subtle canopy defines the threshold, while clean wall finishes and skillfully lighting enhance the sense of arrival. The material palette ensures durability while maintaining a refined and contemporary first impression.

Minimalist Reception Area

The reception area features a custom-designed solid surface desk, paired with a compact upholstered sofa. Vitrified marble-finish flooring enhances brightness, while powder-coated aluminium glass partitions maintain openness. Walls are treated with soft neutral laminates and subtle accent tones, complemented by lighting fixtures. A stretch ceiling feature is introduced to create a striking ambient glow while efficiently fulfilling the lighting requirements. The integration of minimal décor and clean-lined furniture ensures a welcoming yet professional environment, balancing comfort with clarity in a compact footprint.

The passage is defined by fluted wall panelling in soft tones paired with black-framed glass partitions, creating rhythm along the narrow length. A smartly curated colour palette, especially the use of light sky blue, introduces visual emphasis while maintaining a sense of calm, creating uplifting, positive vibes during the day. The design avoids visual clutter, allowing the corridor to feel elongated yet comfortable while visually connected through glass partitions.

Elegant Working Area

This elegant working area is designed to encourage focus and efficiency through simplicity and order. A linear modular workstation with laminated desk surfaces and ergonomic mesh chairs complements each other elegantly. The seating is aligned along the wall to maximise movement space. Horizontal blinds gently filter natural light, while modern storage solutions and a well-planned lighting setup enhance both functionality and visual clarity.

Seamless Working Area

This working area introduces custom work desks paired with upholstered chairs, complemented by backlit display niches for subtle visual interest. Soft matte laminate finishes define the surfaces, while thoughtfully integrated lighting introduces a quiet sense of depth and refinement. The layout encourages both focused work and interaction, supported by modular furniture planning and carefully designed storage, ensuring the space remains functional without compromising on aesthetic refinement.

Aesthetic Conference Room

The conference room is anchored by a custom glass-top conference table with a solid base, surrounded by ergonomic mesh-back revolving chairs. Walls are finished in textured laminates and neutral paints, while a modern ceiling decor with reflective touch and spot lighting creates a focused ambience. The integration of minimal accessories ensures a clutter-free environment suited for presentations and meetings.

Main Chamber

The main chamber is anchored by a custom executive desk featuring a Korean-finish tabletop, paired with premium cushioned visitor chairs and a compact sofa. A striking feature wall in dark walnut paper veneer with a subtle self-pattern adds depth and authority, while the remaining surfaces are finished in PU white, creating a crisp and balanced backdrop. Textured black glass strips introduce a refined visual contrast. Built-in storage is seamlessly integrated to maintain clarity. Altogether, the use of high-grade, premium materials achieves a space that feels effortlessly luxurious, sophisticated, and precisely detailed.

Contemporary Master Bedroom

The master bedroom is designed with a focus on comfort and subtle luxury, featuring a custom upholstered bed with padded headboard panelling. Elegant-finished wardrobes with sliding shutters provide efficient storage, while a compact dressing unit adds functionality. The flooring shifts to a darker tone for warmth, complemented by soft rugs. Layered lighting with cove and spot fixtures, along with minimal décor, creates a calm and restful environment within the workspace context.

The master washroom uses large-format marble-finish tiles, wall-mounted fixtures, and a compact vanity, enhanced by concealed lighting for a premium feel.

The common washroom is finished with anti-skid tiles, wall-mounted sanitaryware, and a compact basin unit. Durable materials ensure longevity, while simple tile patterns and adequate lighting maintain cleanliness and ease of maintenance within a compact and efficient layout.

The remaining areas are designed with the same clarity and precision, ensuring continuity across the entire office. Service zones like the pantry, kitchen, and support spaces are planned with compact modular cabinetry, durable countertops, and easy-to-maintain finishes for efficiency. The laboratory and payment counter integrate functional work surfaces, organised storage, and task lighting to support daily operations seamlessly. It is kept minimal yet comfortable with soft seating, warm lighting, and subtle textures, creating a quiet pause within the workspace while maintaining the overall design language.

Ultimately, the project exemplifies how disciplined design thinking can convert challenging parameters into enduring architectural value. The outcome is a workplace that embodies identity, coherence, and understated sophistication across its entire depth. Equal emphasis has been placed on the interior, where designing within such a compact and narrow footprint demanded precision, creativity, and careful detailing. Every intervention reflects a commitment to intent, proportion, and user experience, resulting in a space that resonates with both functionality and character. With the grace of God and the unwavering hard work of design firm team, this challenge was thoughtfully resolved. The Arihant Group Office stands as a testament to Build Plus Civil Consultancy’s unwavering dedication, collaborative spirit, and design integrity in delivering architecture that meaningfully responds to complexity.
