“The homeowners, a joint family of four brothers, wanted a functional house that had expressed
individuality of each member and as well held together the family as a whole. They wanted the
layout to make the most of the space and natural light,” says Sagar Samal ,of OSD Design
Studio.
The blue metallic jaali and the stone faces entry leads into the anteroom, which is a functional
space with cabinets for storage. The brass sun lights illuminates the foyer and adds to the
humbling experience of entering into an open arena.
Double storied corridor, contemporary interiors and Italian marble flooring define this zone. The
massive slider windows on two levels with uniform and full length drapes give the two storied
place uniformity and expanse. The dew dropped chandelier PISTA contemporary sofa and
bench where the whole family can come together has been custom made by OSD Design Studio.
The Circular backlit mirrors emphasizes the extent of the room and provides a portal-esque vibe
to the space. The wooden strip designing camouflages the bedroom doors to blend in with the

The minimalist design of the marble-topped dining table and leather-upholstered chairs makes
the dining area a very private affair without needing any partitions. The kitchen is accessible through the dining area, it has a the same brown colour palette with black granite counter top.
” The client wanted the master bedroom to be simple and functional so minimal theme was
continued in this space too. with only the artwork spicing up the monotonous wooden colour. “

lush garden.
The brown upholstered headboard flows with the overall earthly tone of the house, the wall
accentuates the cabin styled bedroom with the wooden flooring lends a feeling of warmth and
complements the equable and serene nature of the space and its occupant. Pops of blue and
green bring colour and vibrancy to this room.
The bedroom has a unique statement portrayed by the fingerprint styled tree made on PVC
sharing the story and the different viewpoint of the resident. THe umber tone is maintained in this
room, with laminated wardrobe spanning the opposite wall.
The furniture is completely custom-made by OSD Design Studio.
