Villa 900 – Residential Interior | 39 Design Studio | Gurugram, Haryana
Villa 900 is a recent canvas that 39 Design Studio painted recently, spread on an area of about 2500 sq ft in Gurugram, Haryana. The overarching scheme for the villa was to merge the exterior and the interiors from the existing house to the new construction, as a top floor was being constructed.
The couple’s brief for their 1BHK located in Gurugram, Haryana was to create a space which is modern, accessible and luxurious. Every room has a different story to tell yet they are alike in a way or so, keeping in mind the colour schemes, space utilization, furniture selections.
What’s most impressive about the home, architecturally, is that luxury is infused with warmth and simplicity. In the living area, an expansive family room, with wooden batten ceiling, opens up to the outdoors with lush landscape. The lounge has a colour scheme of black and whites, a very busy tiled floor with playful furniture and grey walls to balance the aesthetics of the space.
Inspired from the tropics, the bar is designed with the muted tones of greens and gold on to the accessories to enhance the space. It’s the restrained design sensibility paired with an exquisite colour and material palette that impresses you right away.
The bedroom is a cocoon of comfort despite being generously proportioned with a large walk-in closet and luxurious bathroom. But it is the bedroom that brings out the pastiche aesthetics of the villa, one of the most spacious rooms in the house, it mimics the grandeur of a high-end hotel suite without compromising on the need for a warm, homely ambiance.
