Antithetically layered with a minimalist design element and an earthy palette for this villa is accented by G Design Studio. The name of the house Casa Corde depicts a structure serving as an abode of human beings. This spotlessly accessible 3bhk villa is set amongst manicured grounds within a private and sheltered complex of Ahuja Highlands, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The colors used are subtle and muted whereas the elements are condensed to the bare minimum, revealing the true essence of the space. This approach was able to transform the space into a simple but elegant and warm home.
The Principal Designer says that “the interior décor of the Casa Corde shows the personality and taste of those accustomed to the best in quality design, finishes, and lifestyle.” The floor plan incorporates a warm contemporary living area gracefully flowing into the dining with 3 compact bedrooms which are ornated logically and aesthetically. Adds on three luxurious bathrooms for each bedroom and a sleek-stylish kitchen.
Living Area And Dining Area
The rich tones of color and wooden flooring add to the classic theme of this beautiful living room decor. The living room has a flawless infused into the dining and staircase with a modest interior of classy furniture and a mirror wall generating a mirage of spaciousness elegantly. The warm light immersed throughout the space makes sure to highlight the gorgeous painting and artfully selected pieces of décor placed on the wall. Modern wooden base sofas and a wooden center table complement the entire room décor with planters. The beautifully patterned wall paneling and the elegant ceiling design with modern pendant light catch one’s eye from the entrance and sets the tone for the aesthetic throughout the house.
The dining area gets a classic-modern style and has an intimate, yet luxurious setting with a wooden table in a cozy nook, complete with statement upholstered chairs with a bench and a beautiful textured modern table. The window provides the perfect natural lighting for a joyful meal with family and friends in this entire area. The perfect combination of tasteful and functional, this dining area is an inviting space for memories to be made. A welcoming space that is as aesthetic as functional, this dining area steals the hearts of the client.
Kitchen Area
A smooth and modern kitchen is designed with stunning countertops, exceptional backsplashes, and statement lighting. The black cabinets add a warm and robust character to the kitchen decor. The cabinet shutters are finished with black-colored high gloss material. In contrast, a white countertop is provided which accentuates the warm lighting fixtures. Open L-shaped shelves in the corner and ample counter space make it spacious and comfortable to use.
Parents’ Bedroom
The parents’ bedroom is ornated with perfect spatial planning in a light beige color theme to enjoy a relaxed easy lifestyle. Beautiful wallpaper on the bed’s wall with wood batten panels and the royal wooden headrest creates a simple yet powerful backdrop to the bed. While modern pendant lights and wall art adds charm to the bedroom. A classic wooden console unit and a modern chair complement the elegant ceiling design. Designers creatively select curtains, a rug, and artifacts for the bedroom which creates a good ambiance of the bedroom and gives a contemporary look.
Master Bedroom
The Master Bedroom was filled with natural light with a beautiful wrap-around balcony. The intent was to keep the design simple and elegant. Considering the design intent, A wall decor with beautiful wallpaper makes for an elegant backdrop for the bed headboard. While wall art adds elegance to the wall décor with modern pendant lights. The wooden bed and side table accentuates with the same wooden flooring. The wardrobe design and a white modest ceiling design add charm to the bedroom furnishings. While a wooden working desk is highlighted with wall art which creates a good atmosphere.
The master bedroom and son’s bedroom are more of a pared-down, sleek look that is conducive to getting a good night’s rest. The bedrooms are teamed up with lively fabric wallpaper and beige color to have a crisp and sharpened contemporary look. – words by The Principal Architect. The shade of the space is calm, with bright dominant wooden accents, the combination of both eccentric interior decor and modern techniques.
Bathroom
The entire bathroom is clad in 2 different Italian marbles. The countertop basin with wooden storage unit accentuates the theme of the bathroom. The WC and the shower walls were highlighted with two different colors of marble while the glass partition helped to divide the wet area and dry area.
Entertainment Room Cum Bar Area
This cozy private space décor for an entertainment area for close family members and friends. The mirror wall creates an illusion of spaciousness in this area. The wooden ceiling decor has modern and unique light fixtures which give the space a touch of opulence. Bold character bar area cabinets highlight the bar wooden counter with modern chairs and add drama to the ornamentation. While modern leatherette upholstery sofa creates a good and relaxing ambiance for the clients. The ceiling design for the physical activity area with a Billiards pool table kept it simple and elegant.
Family Living Area
The family living area is on the top floor which is well décor with wooden elements. The linear patterned paneling for the TV unit wall adds a luxe factor with a warm welcoming décor. “Luxury is in each detail” furniture with earthy woody elements was selected like the wooden flooring and ceiling design. A grey textured wallpaper and wall art emphasized the white modern sofas. While the light fixture in the corner adds charm to the contemporary theme of the room.
Terrace
The family living and terrace garden deck is awash with natural light, so classy light and dark theme is followed to emphasize natural lighting awash. A beautiful terrace garden was created to enjoy the time, relax, and have fun with the family. A cozy stone cladded wall is highlighted with light fixtures while the vertical batten, selection of flooring, and modern roof design give an earthen feel. Black sitting with orange hues compliments the entire setup. Green grass on the remaining floor adds a soothing & calm vibe to the terrace.
The overall vibe of this home is cozy, luxurious, contemporary, and easy on the eyes. A play on warm and cold tones, old and new concepts, as well as the use of natural and man-made materials, is central to the design concept. The interior explores the combination of different materials with wood, by understanding the properties and architectonical values of each complementing material. The aesthetic of the home together is an understated commixture of elegance and beauty.
G Design Studio sowed the seeds in 2014 as “Gabriel Design Studio” by Ar. Gabriel Punitharaj with his enthusiastic plans. The interval of time ripped the firm with the extension of Govarthanam Viswanathan as a partner, making the palette of the firm sturdy and ironic with the planning of large format spaces like apartments, group housings, and urban intervention. The firm is a design-centric organization with supreme care for minutiae.
