A beautiful home designed by Aricio Interior Design Studio reflects luxurious and modern interiors would categorize this as a modern-classical design with an elegant touch. Nestled, this residential project in an 850 sq. ft., area in Northen Heights (Dahisar East) Mumbai has a view like no other. While designing, the designer ensured that the selected material palate gives an effect of natural light to play an important for the interior space. Simple materials and easy-on-eyes colour palettes aptly define the home. Everything here belongs and has a character that complements the design.
The principal designer Aashit Mewada shares that Our approach towards the design was an intent to standardize clients’ briefs with our mediation of planning and designing spaces having an individual identity and yet fall in the eye-catching furnishings of minimalism, modern styles, and contemporary living. Neutral Harmony Retreat gracefully combines the soothing hues in the bedroom, living room, and kitchen.
LIVING ROOM
Tranquil Gathering in this living room, serene beige serves as the backdrop, with subtle accents adding warmth. Soft furnishings invite relaxation, and ample natural light enhances the tranquil atmosphere. Dual-tone modern sittings and a stylish centre table accentuate each other gracefully. The living room has been kept extremely modest and bare allowing it to look more elegant. The smooth texture of the TV unit wall and the console unit in beige are the bespoke elements that add all the drama. Lighting fixtures and a full-height window with eye-pleasing curtains add brightness to this living room.
DINING AREA
The plain elegant ceiling over the dining table and a modern golden chandelier give a palatial touch and bring about an illusion of splendid height. A pop of dining chairs and a modern wooden dining table bring freshness to the space. The backdrop of the dining area forms a positive vibe with the creative play of mirrors on the French décor on a wall. A singular material palette, albeit in varied textures, makes the space look clean, yet detailed. The theme of the mandir and crockery units is well-balanced and soothing to the eye.
KITCHEN
Serene Functionality in this kitchen showcases cabinetry and countertops, ensuring both aesthetics and functionality. Wooden elements in brown offer a touch of nature, while modern appliances streamline cooking. A pleasing use of materials and colour schemes plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of spaces. The kitchen here is designed to exemplify modern characteristics with its sober flooring, reflective surfaces, and sleek finish thus attaining neatness in its design approach.
BEDROOM WITH AN ELEGANT SERENITY
The bedroom exudes calm with light grey accents. Soft bedding and furnishings provide comfort, and wooden decor pieces infuse character. Large windows frame natural beauty. The Neutral Harmony Retreat offers a seamless blend of comfort and style, making it the perfect place to unwind and rejuvenate. The TV unit and a modern storage unit are complemented with selected artefacts by the designer. The lighting fixture on walls and ceilings adds allure to the bedroom décor. The attached bathroom is also décor with warm lighting fixtures and modern sanitary fittings.
BEDROOM WITH AESTHETIC DÉCOR
The second bedroom for the client was explored with eye-soothing pigment colour and arches creating a geometrical pattern tangential on the backdrop of the bed adding lavishness to the bedroom décor. An eye-catching modern pendant light in a corner adds charm to the interior theme. Each furniture element is designed by the studio, which consists of a dressing table, and a sleek minimal TV unit, which lends a luxe factor to the bedroom. The attached bathroom is minimal in design, using modern fittings and lighting fixtures complementing the décor.
Overall, the designer’s integration of space is characterized by the perfect amalgamation of the spaces into the house, which reflects the distinctive features of each space, making it look more elegant and sophisticated in its way. The elemental additions were kept minimal while letting functionality reign and the furniture was all finished in an eye-soothing colour palette to allow the sweeping light to reflect and make the space look bigger and brighter.
