The space reflects a Contemporary Luxe theme office, combining refined elegance with understated warmth. Through a palette of subtle neutrals, earthy tones, and curated decor, the design fosters a calm yet professional setting. With its clean lines, layered textures, and ambient lighting, the office embodies a sense of clarity, focus, and refined contemporary elegance.
The Principal Designer, Vijay Sathwara, shares that the concept aimed to create a workspace that feels both elevated and welcoming. Smartly emphasizes the importance of blending form with function, where every design element supports productivity without compromising comfort. By using warm neutrals, smooth finishes, and natural accents, the intent was to reflect the client’s ethos while ensuring a calm and cohesive environment. Entrance
The entrance to Maa Marine Services Private Limited makes a bold and refined first impression. A warm wooden flooring complements the marble-textured walls and stylish circular accented signage, setting the tone for the contemporary luxe interior within. The main door design softens the bold structure while the embedded lighting adds a sense of sophistication. The glass door subtly reveals the space beyond, offering a glimpse into the office’s elegant design style. It seamlessly merges style with corporate professionalism, creating an inviting entry that speaks of clarity, identity, and attention to detail.
Waiting Area
The waiting area is designed for comfort with a professional edge, featuring a rich brown leather sofa that contrasts beautifully against textured off-white walls. Minimal artwork and sleek wall panelling offer a calm backdrop, while soft ambient lighting ensures the space feels open and welcoming. Every detail—from the ceiling decor to the subtle floor finish—supports a composed atmosphere. This thoughtfully arranged nook by Vee Design Studio ensures that visitors are welcomed with a blend of warmth, calm, and contemporary elegance.
Reception Area
The reception area showcases a minimalist, modern aesthetic that instantly communicates professionalism. The front desk, designed in soft grey with a wooden base and backlit finish, is both understated and chic. Textured walls and vertical panels subtly enhance the visual layers while maintaining a balanced aesthetic. A large partition of ribbed glass framed in gold adds transparency and separation, defining the office layout while allowing natural light to travel through. Overall, the space is efficient, elegant, and aligned with the Contemporary Luxe theme.
Workstation Area
The workstation area is designed to promote productivity while maintaining a sense of ease. A shared desk setup with ergonomic chairs fosters collaboration, while upper cabinetry and open shelves provide ample storage without visual clutter. Another desk is ornate with a subtle neutral palette is accented with natural textures and indoor plants, offering both warmth and freshness. With its dark-toned grid and integrated lighting, the ceiling creates depth while anchoring the overall design. Soft wall finishes and thoughtful lighting ensure a balanced work environment with a calm, composed design language that reflects modern functionality.
Meeting Room
The discussion area brings a creative yet composed energy to the workspace. With world map graphics on textured walls, another side features a subtle graphic of a ship highlighted by the word “INNOVATION,” which energizes the space, turning the wall into a visual statement that reflects the spirit of a modern outlook. A modern table at its centre, the space encourages teamwork and collaboration, complemented with the subtle lighting, and ergonomic chairs contribute to a professional yet approachable setting. Enclosed with ribbed glass, the room maintains a visual connection with the rest of the office while ensuring privacy.
Eclectic Cabin
This cabin embodies executive elegance with a contemporary material palette and efficient layout. Textured stone-finish walls, sleek wood cabinetry, and ambient cove lighting together establish a dignified tone. The plush leather sofa and subtle display niches lend sophistication without overstatement. The marble-topped desk is accentuated by a striking front panel with a bold geometric design, adding visual depth and sophistication to the space.
Serving as the focal point of the room, it is complemented by a high-back executive chair that conveys a sense of authority and purpose.
