The site is a 2400 sqft 4BHK apartment located in Kolkata. Mr. Kasat is one of our oldest and constant clients.
Our vision for this project was to fabricate a tale with many fascinating elements; the design of the house narrates a story for itself. Each bedroom is our characters who are fashioned in their own unique way, bonded like family with the wide-ranging array of tiles we have incorporated. The owner gave us a free reign to explore and experiment.
The site was a blank canvas to play with; we painted it using the flooring tiles as our highlight. Our work of tiles stands bold, commanding its presence from whomever steps in the door. In our little tale, we worked with different colours infused with texture to add drama.
The subtlety was carried by the psychedelic play of neutral colours mixed with bold splashes of colours to redefine the tenets of modern-day living. The most attractive quality of a home is the feeling of comfort which we tried to meticulously create manoeuvring apposite air and light. This project is a celebration of design.
