The architect’s office located in City Centre 2, ScienceCity road,Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The design/concept of office is having more open space. The size of office is 900 sq.ft. super built-up area.
The location of office is east & west sides,so in the morning you get sunrise & evening sunset views. I have used wooden planks for flooring material, veneer with matte water base finish, PU, Marble and Granite. When you enter the office, I have kept 11’x15’ ft areaas waiting area and 4 draughtsmen sitting area. I have used eye catching floral pattern sofa with carpet.
It’s merged with White PU and Veneer shade. Instead of using wall paintings,we used an on-going bungalows plan for photo frame which match with sofa. For draughtsman desk, mirror polished black marble has been used. Use veneer/design such a way in waiting area, you cannot find the separate door for pantry and toilet area and it looks like a veneer wall.
In a small area, have also provided a 5’x8’ pantry area with all equipment’s. The main architect’s cabin size is 18’x12’. From main cabin, I have a view of east side with ring road flyover. Main table size is 8’x3’6” with Alberta White Marble on it. It’s a combination of light pista green PU and veneer. The cabin also works as a conference room.
The sitting capacity of main cabin area are 9 persons. Have used floral metallic green chair with camel leather,3-seater sofa,carpet with a designer top, artistic centre table which enhance the beauty of area. I’m fond of artefactsin waiting area and same way main table back side area is decorated with modern artefacts. I have also designed a Balinese standing monk placement for eye catching entrance area. Used a clear glass partition for waiting and main cabin area. Clear height of office 9’10”,so I have designed a 2” depth of ceiling area only.
Concept note on the project
It’s a 900 sq.ft super built up office area. I have created an ambience of minimum furniture and more open space. Office filled up with artistic sofa, main table and artefacts. As per Vaastu,pista green colour indicates calmness and prosperity. So mostly use pista green with white pu and veneer. Also provided a 70” Sony LCD to enjoying the work with big screen.
