Chaskaa Cafe & Restaurant | DRAW Design ReseArch Workshop | Delhi
The design brief was to Re-Design the vibe of the restaurant from “ Take -away” to “Dine-in” , to make the fav take away spot of the locals a place to chill around in the amazingly vibrant ambience.
Concept :
The quirky , nature inspired restaurant is given a unique character that no amount of Art & furniture can do in the form of bold ceiling & flooring. Parallel bold ceiling & flooring became the focal element of the space. The beautiful moulded ceiling in the tones of blue that draws the eye mirrors the flooring pattern patch finished with patterned tiles .
Grey texture has been added to the walls. The huge windows with outdoor planters and mirrors have been added to reduce the space constraint and add the required openness in the space , making it look bigger .
Neon signage & the hanging lights with planters add to the vibe of the space making it more appealing and inviting even from the outside. The colour palette bas been kept In the tones kf grey for flooring & walls , breaking the monotony with bold colours on the furniture.
The Artsy screen wall with minimal yet eye catching paintings on the wall completes the overall theme. The Design Approach for this cafe was taken keeping in mind the space constraint & the vibe the client wanted around in the space. Adding too many elements in a small space is a risk , but it all comes together if thoughtfully designed.
