In the fast-moving world today, home is the place that keeps us tied to our roots. It is our haven to unwind, to enjoy and to feel like it’s our solace with a hint of modernism with traditional values.
Principal Designer asserts that The Sun Villa is located in the busy area of Ahmedabad. The client demanded a cozy modern touch that can be both functional and inviting. The project holds a special place in our hearts where we tried to include every ongoing trend in the interior industry. Designer curtains, astounding lightings and large-scale wallpaper are the focal point for interior of the house. The swing in the living area adds to the royal traditional vibe in the overall project. The bedrooms are an amalgam of neutral to beige colour palettes with an overall design which gives a reflection of minimalist details with comfort. All the rooms have ample natural light coming, which glorifies the interior decor. While wardrobe handles and texture are a feature of objects of the room interior. We tried capturing the emotions of clients while carving their dream into reality. All in all, we are sure that Sun Villa was a unique synergy of traditional values and luxury while reserving practical aspects of modern living.
The highlights of the ‘Sun Villa’ are its well-defined tilted drop away from the roof and the balanced play of geometric forms. The design objective encompasses the use of crisp and clear lines throughout the house in the elevation and interior spaces. Sun Villa is an aesthetically pleasing structure where fresh air and natural lighting join hands with chic and modern features. The entrance to the house is ornamented with columns and wall décor with grey rustic elements with a grove pattern are incorporated in a contemporary style so that it gives a pure traditional Indian home feel. While the main door design is accentuated with the wall pattern and palette.
The entrance to the house opens up into the spacious living room. The living room was designed along the lines of minimalist interiors. The palette was muted but with small details that melded with Vitrified tiles. The TV unit wall is highlighted by a beautifully textured embossed wallpaper which is a great combination with wooden furnishings. While the wooden ceiling and focus spotlight just add charm to the TV unit furnishing. The luxurious living room strikes a balance with the traditional facet with the royal traditional wooden swing. The blue velvet L-shaped sofa with a wooden base just compliments the modern solid wooden coffee table set. The ceiling design is highlighted with a wooden belt, while two corners have an eye-catching triple pendant light.
Designers used wooden framing in a creative way to separate the dining area and living area. The dining room is still the perfect place to share meal times and beautiful moments with friends and family. The astounding lighting, wall art and mesmerizing furnishings are adding more glory to the area. While the wallpaper has a white background and large leaves drawing that stands out. The wallpaper gives a calm, natural feeling every time you stare at it and creates a relaxed atmosphere. The marble-top dining table with wooden legs and blue velvet upholstered dining chairs compliments the wooden ceiling design.
Predominantly white! The kitchen is kept spacious and minimal to attain a clutter-free look. The entrance to the kitchen is highlighted by the wooden framing. The open kitchen dwells in its monotony with whites to only allow grey for shutters and as highlighter. This modest setup is enhanced with the white glossy tiles with groves and white counter tops that add aristocracy to the space.
The family lounge cum guest room is the most sociable room in the house, proving ample seating for the family with the L-shaped lounger with the same theme of blue velvet upholstered. And wardrobe design very well in wooden material, which is highlighted by using colourful texture in between. An apt area to spend quality time with friends and family together.
The pooja area is warm with two pendent lights which complement the wooden furnishings. While distinct coloured walls with a white background and another with a purple textured wall create an eye-soothing decor. A sense of vernacularism is achieved through the floral white artwork done on the sober purple wall. The backwall, in turn, brings the focus onto the wooden-designed temple with a grove pattern that steals the show through a jali leafy centralized with OM in pattern at the backdrop.
Traditional decor is often rich in colour, pattern, and texture; just a few strategically placed pieces can fill a room with exotic flair. An antique-designed grey bed with geometric patterned headrest and wooden belt continues with a side drawer, which just completely transforms this bedroom into a vibrant, energetic space. There are artificial lightings and Designer curtain in room which enhance the blend of different materials beautifully.
The TV unit wall is ornamented with different grey shades while leafy wall art is an eye-catching design for visitors. The floral sofa and stool with grey touching just enhances the bedroom area. While the sofa backwall is highlighted with textured wallpaper which compliments the wooden ceiling. The wardrobe and dressing table are designed very well with white tones and highlighted with wooden knobs and handles.
The second bedroom embodies grandeur and elegance. The concept of a bedroom represents tranquillity. Wooden furnishing with white walls and pastel olive upholstery on the headrest of the bed gives an enduring calmness. The monochromatic pattern works as an eye-catchy for TV unit and wardrobe design. The TV unit is designed with a grey rusting texture with wooden and white tones, which compliments the wooden ceiling design. Wall art enhances the olive pastel wall with lighting fixtures. Wardrobe design is simple and elegant with customised wooden handles and knobs.
Each room has elegant interiors with the best possible play of natural sunlight through window and balcony. There are astounding lightings in each room, enhancing the blend of different materials explored in one space, making every inch of the space worth living in. This design is the best example of modern with traditional living. The designer of Artisty Design Studioo has cleverly added greenery in the nook and corners to give it a close to nature feel. The home is complete, impressive and inviting for all.
