The predominant use of cinnamon rose pink hues is offset by artifacts. Prettyy360°- A Beauty Salon is well-molded by P’s Design Therapy Interior Design Studioin Vadodara, Gujarat. A Beauty is one of the dearest projects for The Principal Designer and Founder- Prayoshi Patel of P’s Design Therapyof this year; a total of 750 sq.ft., area of pink bliss. It is a female beauty salon, as females have their secret love for pinks, the designer very carefully selected a color palate consisting of loads of cinnamon rose pink with a balanced amount of whites and greys. This gorgeous salon has various sub-spaces and elements which blend amazingly well altogether which gives a spacious and seamless feel without disturbing harmony.
The Principal Designer and Founder- Prayoshi Patel stated that Encapsulating the client’s design brief, we chose a style that is inspired by the accent of the Shabby chic design style that combines elements of vintage and modern styles with its classical details, the hint of luxury to create an elegant, yet worn look through a modern lens. This theme is characterized by its use of soft colors, floral accents, gentle textures, and romantic appeal with a country-cottage feel. The Entire space of this salon has been designed and executed in such a way that whenever their customers walk in, they feel pampered by the pink blush!
Reception Area
The first segment consists of the reception and waiting area. As one enters, they are elated into the prudish modern-age interior space. This cinnamon rose pink theme with grey and white hues is carried forward up to the salon area. The wooden texture flooring which gives a classic look also unifies the entire space. A modern Oblong grey stone top reception table highlighted with vertical décor in a beautiful art-deco style. Face wall art planters and an aesthetic vintage frame create a good impact on the wall décor. The merchandise rack in an arched shape is just placed back in the reception area.
Waiting Area
The waiting area has serene and soft ambiance ornamentation. Floral painting with a golden frame and warm light is an eye-catchy element that also accentuates the theme of a salon. Cinnamon rose pink theme sofa and chair complement the white table with planters. While a white product display unit is creatively used as a partition and it is well décor with planters which forms the prime focus for visitors.
Mani-Pedi And Hair Wash Area
The next zone is the mani-pedi and hair wash area which was creatively decorated by the designer. After thoughtful generosity, its out-the-box aesthetics painted the entire ceiling and 1/3rd of the wall cinnamon rose pink and kept things monochromatic below it pleasingly. While in this area 1/3 part of the wall décor with unique female face wallpaper complements the theme of the salon.
Grey upholstery chairs are used for a mani-pedi and hair washing as per the client’s professional requirement. And related that theme middle wall is décor with grey circular series which also showcases the product of the salon. A huge arched showcase rack and white cabinets catch the attention of the visitors. The series of white focus light fixtures for the ceiling creates a good ambiance in this zone. And give a softer feel to this area and also controls the daylight during the afternoon hours.
Hair Dresser Area
Looking at arched shape mirrors that is the function of the space has been used poetically to express the form of the space, hence grey rod frames use intended to highlight this area nicely. With grey frameworks, racks are also centered to reflect the shadow of the entire space, creating an illusion of vastness in visualization. White storage units and artifacts complement the mirror deco style. One wall is highlighted with photo frames that show the salon’s service complementing the white art-deco frame perfectly.
Personal Care Area
The private room follows the theme of the salon along with quirky neon light fixtures to add that extra element. In this area, the designer has used a grey framed arched wall decor to add a sense of peace and serenity. Creatively the designer customized the facial bed with storage is well decorated in an art deco style with a linear pattern. The cabinets in this room are designed as per the theme of a salon. While an aesthetic vintage frame on the partition wall complements the artifacts elegantly. Even on the ceiling, the designer follows the theme of an aesthetic vintage frame pleasingly.
Bridal Studio Area
Finally, the bridal room has a cinnamon rose pink and white wall with eye-catchy art on it. And gives a sense of happiness and love during the most important events of the client’s customers’ life. The bridal studio area is design in such a way that the ambiance of interior creates a royal era. The mirror style is just majestic with the light fixtures and golden frame. The elegant ceiling décor and a vintage theme chandelier add charm to this space. White storage units and artifacts complement the theme of the interior.
A challenging yet fascinating part of the design was though the footprint of space was less, transitions and functionality of each corner are very well defined and executed. The concept of Shabby chic design style behind this project was tocreate a space, which was bold but elegant, usual but still one of its kind. Once visitors step into the place, the space starts speaking for itself. Throughout the project, the designer truly enjoyed themselves and had a lot of fun, especially as their vision was aligned with the client, which allowed them to paint the canvas just the way the client had envisioned.
