The interior design for Mr. Lalit’s residence is reflecting on their client’s taste, the emphasis is put on creating spaces that are airy and spacious. This eye-appealing apartment interior with 1600 sq. ft., was beautifully knotted by a multi-disciplinary Architectural & Interior design firm, Zorbba Design Studio, founded by Architectural designer Mr. Ritesh Panchal in Vadodara, Gujarat. A neutral colour palette was chosen, helping create a tranquil ambience. Creating a harmonious amalgamation between spaces that allow light and natural ventilation was important for this adobe. This allowed the exclusion of cores; the entrance, the social, and the private areas.
The Principal Architect says that Aesthetics but with functionality—is a requirement for home dwellers. “The main aim while designing this eye-pleasing home was to fulfil the client’s requirements. The residential apartment is conceptualized as an amalgamation of opulence and serenity. They wanted a home with ample amount of brightness, yet making it look eye-pleasing.”
Entrance
The entrance and the foyer are ornated with an amiable use of decent elements and a justifiable material palette. An amalgamation of materials and compositions, this area forms a unique approach to the residence. Earthy tones of wood are combined with the greys of cement-bonded panels. This is further decorated with striking linear patterns complementing the entrance’s modern wooden doors. The wall has been emphasised with a wall artefact whereas the indirect light enhances the texture with a wooden storage unit.
Living Area

The balcony extends along the edge lighting up the whole living area with natural daylight and can be used as cosy seating equally in morning and evening time.
Dining Area
The dining area exudes grandeur, with the table adorned with an exquisite marble top dining table with a wooden base. While dual-tone dining chairs accentuate with a floating chandelier and a modern ceiling design. While a grey eye-pleasant wall and artefacts nicely complement the wooden console unit. Natural sunlight pours into the dining area, infusing it with a radiant energy that illuminates every corner.
Kitchen Area
The grey palette continues in the kitchen too with its modular units, making it look more open and larger with multiple cabinets and drawers that serve the client’s storage needs. Clean lines and minimalist details create a modern and uncluttered ambience for the kitchen. Light falling on it makes the veins sparkle as lighting fixtures adorn the ceiling. While white elegant ceiling décor accentuates the kitchen furnishings.

A mandir area is placed after the dining area with elegant ornamentation. The mandir’s wall is well adorned with Moroccan mosaic patterns. While backlighting gives it elegance and creates a good ambience. White storage unit with a marble top complimenting the mandir décor.
Master Bedroom
The interior of this master bedroom is designed identically from one space to another, yet the overall design has followed a grey circular patterned theme. This allowed the designer to experiment freely and create different segments into one entity.
The major aspect was the play of patterns on all furniture and the bed’s back wall. Using a shade of grey colour in circular patterns on a bed’s headboard complimenting the bed design. While on adjacent wall décor with circular modern wall art and add charm with circular lighting fixtures.
A Contemporary Bedroom
This bedroom is adorned with modern elegant subtle, bright, and beautiful furnishings. The mix of classic and contemporary furniture enlightens the whole mood of this bedroom. Modern wardrobes and a dressing unit accentuate the interior décor of the bedroom.
An Aesthetic Bedroom
The aesthetic bedroom, in keeping up with the theme, has a vertical panel that complements the grey circular pattern on the bed’s headboard. Side tables and the bed are made with an earthy material emphasized with a white palette. The aesthetic theme for this bedroom defines a design’s beautiful qualities and brings out the finest features of different elements including balance, color, movement, pattern, scale, shape, and visual weight. While a modern wardrobe and a dressing unit are elegantly ornated with earthy elements.
