The Interior Design of Tejas Salon is an Exquisite Blend of Modern Elegance and Inviting Warmth which located in Rajkot, Gujarat, with 553 sq. ft., area. This salon is well nestled by Lavina Interiors with luxury and royal décor. It is a female beauty salon and as females have their secret love for elegance, the designer very carefully selected a light colour palate with pop-up hues that consist of eye-pleasant accent walls with a balanced amount of whites and greys.
The Principal Designer, Lakshme Rochwani shares that while capturing the client’s design brief, we chose a style that is inspired by the accent minimalist French interior style for Tejas Salon. A Beauty Salon that combines elements of vintage and modern styles with its classical details, a hint of luxury to create an elegant, yet worn look through a modern lens. This theme is characterized by its use of soft colours, floral décor elements, gentle textures, and starry-eyed appeal with a royal feel.
The ambience of Tejas Salon is ornated with contemporary timeless colours juxtaposed with the fluidity of the curves and lines, giving the space an exquisite touch. Glass entrance leads to the snowy luxury reception area with a modern white desk whereas wooden texture flooring adds elegance. The backdrop wall of the reception area is ornated with their product on French theme racks. The glass façade highlights the sophisticated interior of the salon, which attracts the crowd towards the salon.
The designer creatively placed a waiting cum lounge area against the reception desk. Chic modern style shines bright with the unique design of the lush velvet chairs with a rounded backrest, complementing a modern round centre table. A huge mirror highlighted with French theme wall décor and emphasised by lighting fixtures. As for the partitioning, white batten with display shelves gives a spacious and seamless feel without disturbing harmony.
With a design that is driven by functionality, the styling areas were planned to take up the front hairstyling zone. The hairstyling area has horizontal linear patterns on walls along with leatherette chairs and artifacts providing a sense of elegance. While mirrors with black framing and lighting fixtures add charm to the interior décor. The warm spot lighting fixtures in black on each rack accentuate the interior theme of a salon.
Moving next to the manicure and pedicure area, it follows a similar theme as the hairstyling area with leatherette chairs. The hair wash area with the leatherette shampoo chair is an outstanding exemplar of modesty, pleasantness, and ultra-modern luxury that stands for its class. White furniture and French wall racks are well accentuated with artefacts in earthy tones.
A modern stylish staircase adds a good ambience to the décor where walls are ornated with wall art and a mirror. The staircase leads to the Private zone which has rooms requiring a serene and quiet ambience. On the upper level, it includes the bridal room, waxing room, skin treatment room, and massage room. On one side designer placed a modern showcase unit for their daily use products with lighting fixtures.
The bridal or makeup room follows the same theme of French with a white colour palette for walls and furniture. The arched-shaped open space with a hanger for bridal clothes is well displayed with a modern spotlight. The designer placed full-height mirrors on walls with lighting fixtures and also gave the illusion of looking spacious.
Tejas Salon spa/massage/waxing rooms were designed with minimalism, keeping in mind the calming nature of the room. These rooms held simple wooden texture flooring with white walls and warm lighting which has a relaxing effect on the room.
The snowy spa room is elegantly ornate with white curtains, a French-style mirror and acoustic French mouldings on the wall creating an eye-pleasing interior décor. The bed is in white tone with storage, and all elements like a wall picture and artefacts provide a relaxing ambience.
Shelve on one side with an artistic mirror in the spa room seems spacious and the mood lighting adds to the aesthetics of the space. The blurry glass screen increases the privacy of the place hence making the customers feel more relaxed. The bed is simple and sleek with yellow tone storage underneath creating eye-catching furniture.
Allowing for a view of the luxury space and the services offered in this elegant salon interior. The use of light colours, warm textures, wooden texture floorings and a modern plain ceiling in the entire space, magnifies the sense of continuity further into the depths of the salon. The salon is lavish without a doubt, and it has carefully curated elements that add to the overall user experience in a majestic ambience.
Lakshme Rochwani, founder of Lavina Interiors design bespoke interiors for residential and commercial properties. The firm has been in the industry for a little over 8 years. The work they have done with clients has ranged from transforming one room of their homes to transforming an entire house, an office, or a factory. From the first consultation, they aim to bring a fresh perspective and attention to detail. Creating bespoke concepts with its natural knack for bringing different concepts together.
