Zen house | Mitee Interiors | Pune
This project based on Zen style interiors involves elements that promote tranquility, simplicity, and a harmonious balance. We have chosen calming & neutral color palette of earthy tones such as sand red, beige, grays & white.
In living area, we have decluttered the space by keeping only essential items, creating an open and uncluttered environment. Further furniture arrangements are kept open and spacious to encourage the flow and movement within the space. Marble on wall & plants shows connection to nature & bring sense of nature indoors.
The key to a successful Zen – inspired interior design is finding the right balance between simplicity, natural elements, and a sense of calm. Each element should contribute to the overall harmony of the space, creating a tranquil and peaceful environment.
The kitchen holds significant importance in a house, serving as a central hub for various activities. The design and functionality of the kitchen significantly impact the overall value of a home. We have considered open shelving instead of closed cabinets. This not only contributes to a minimalist look but also provides an opportunity to display carefully chosen, purposeful items. Zen-inspired kitchen that not only serves as a functional cooking space but also as a serene and peaceful retreat within your home.
Zen style interiors is inspired by the nature, Hence in guest bedroom We have introduced greenery on walls by using customized wallpaper to bring experience of nature indoors. Low height bed, clean lines & simple designs are some of the key features of Zen inspired homes. Furniture should serve a functional purpose without unnecessary ornamentation.
Further, Built-in cabinets, hidden storage compartments, and minimalist shelving help keep the space organized. Earthy and natural hanging lamps, natural fiber bedcover & cushions add the warmth to the space. To minimize the presence of technology and electronics we have hidden the AC indoor unit behind the ventilated shutter creating a space that encourage a digital detox and promote mindfulness.
For Master bedroom, we have chosen calming and neutral colour scheme dominated by soft, earthy tones such as whites contributing to the peaceful atmosphere. Integrate reflective surfaces, such as mirrors, to create a sense of openness and to amplify natural light. Ensure that the mirrors are positioned thoughtfully to enhance the overall harmony. Creating a Zen-inspired bedroom involves a harmonious blend of simplicity, natural elements, and a mindful approach to design.
