Aesthetic and welcoming, this 5500 sq. ft bungalow surrounded by lush greens truly reflects the taste of its residents. This house is a great testament to simplicity, combined with effortless elegance. It is also a cheerful gesture of what it means to create, to dream, and to rejoice together, as a family.
The Principal Designer, Isha Rane shares that their client was very particular that the interiors should reflect the ample amount of light coming from the surrounding outdoor spaces, hence the colours were chosen accordingly. The entire interior of this home was designed with keen attention to functionality and utmost space utilisation. The designer strives to reveal homes that fuse boundaries of colours and textures, adding focal points and backdrops. They have played around with materials, forms, and functions that were intended to make a space where the family could truly be themselves and encouraged to interact with the surroundings based on their moods, not limited to the designated space.
It’s a warm welcome into a world of relaxation and Indulgence. The rustic grey and brick colour façade walls bring out a down-to-earth feeling combined with a modern wooden ceiling and flooring outlook. At The Tranquil Home, there’s an earthy green space for the family to unwind and uncover the prestige of nature in their garden. By using the most soothing elements – planters, Gautam Buddha, and mood lighting for a peaceful environment in the beautiful landscape area.
ENTRANCE
The design of this bungalow is elegantly ornated in a ‘Neo-classic’ style with materials and a mix of modern décor. Eye-catching ornamentation and colour scheme enhance the flair of the design’s uniqueness. Starting with the entrance, a modern main door with classic décor gives a welcoming feeling. With a monochromatic colour scheme to give the home a more spacious and minimalistic look. This was achieved through simple clean lines and easy-to-maintain materials throughout the house.
LIVING ROOM
In this earthy bungalow, the designer created a spacious living room area that seamlessly connects to the outdoors through full-length glazing on one side. Modern velvet upholstery sofas with a huge modern black centre table complement each other stylishly. While the selected curtains and lighting fixtures add allure to the interior décor. A modern TV unit panelling with warm lighting and selected artefacts creates a good ambience in this interior space. The modern classic ceiling décor with simple lines and curves adds luxuriousness to the living area.
DINING AREA
The Living Room and Dining area lift a balance of comfort with luxe factor pleasingly. Wooden décor elements with modern linear ceiling décor work as a partition for dining and living areas gracefully. The Italian marble top dining table paired with beige-coloured chairs complement the modern eye-catching crystal lighting fixture. Wall art with a modern console unit near the dining table gives a lavish look to the dining area.
The designer elegantly extended the dining area with outdoor seating arrangements which are ornated with rattan work sofas and armchairs with grey upholstery emphasized by planters. While wall décor has with black metal screen design with a red brick colour palette. The lighting fixtures on the wall and for a modern ceiling add allure to the décor which also creates a relaxing atmosphere.
KITCHEN AREA
Speaking specifically about the kitchen, it is an utmost utility-driven design made to suit the residents and their styles. The light colour combinations used along with the dark granite for a huge C-shaped platform make it look elegant. The layout of this kitchen was designed to show off modern wooden modular furniture. The creative use of different shades gives the kitchen an elegant, clean look while lighting fixtures under the cabinets add charm to the decor.
MANDIR AREA
The mandir is placed in front of the entrance door near the living area and it is ornated with elegant artwork on the ceiling to flooring. A white artistry marble mandir, with tree engraving décor highlighting the mandir area positively. Lighting fixtures give the mandir area elegance and purity. White artistic floral art on the back wall of the mandir complements the décor elegantly and creates a peaceful ambience.
ENTERTAINMENT AREA
The family entertainment area is pleasingly ornated with a mix of concrete and wood finish look with bold seating. A modern L-shape sofa with dark upholstery well accentuated with 3d artistic white wall décor. TV unit with modern open shelves and modern console unit adds charm to the décor. The modern wooden linear ceiling décor and lighting fixtures give a dramatic effect. While selected curtains and artefacts create a pleasing ambience in this entertainment area.
MASTER BEDROOM
Master Bedroom with luxuriate decor in the minimalism of bedding, with rich, neutral tones and subtle textures. Marble cladding walls with linear patterns for the bed wall and TV unit add gracefulness to the master bedroom décor. Lighting fixtures and the modern cushions bed’s headrest with elegant ceiling décor complement each other. The modern wooden walk-in wardrobe is stylishly decorated with a contemporary wardrobe while artefacts balance the interior décor.
The attached master bathroom is well emphasized with marble cladding walls in a symmetrical theme whereas modern sanitary fittings enhance charm to the décor. while the use of warm lighting fixtures adds charm to the wall cladding décor.
MOTHER’S BEDROOM
The Mother’s bedroom follows the theme of subtle and elegant design that works perfectly for the user with refined colours along with clean lines. The bedroom has a classic headboard bed with a play of light in the bed back panelling completing the luxurious bedroom design. The modern design of a bed and an armchair gives an aesthetic look with selected blind curtains. A dressing table and a decorative mirror with a lighting fixture added to the interior elegance of the room. Whereas the walk-in wardrobe is well furnished with wooden and classic brass decorative elements. The simplicity of the TV unit is accentuated by a modern white console unit in this bedroom.
SON’S BEDROOM
The son’s bedroom is an epitome of luxury and it offers a complete empathetic connection to the user. The custom-made bed’s headrest and geometrical light grey-black panelling set a beautiful backdrop for modern bed design. All the decorative elements are highlighted with an eye-soothing décor in this elegant bedroom. The space offers excellent warmth and luxury with a modern study area and a sober TV unit with wooden storage highlighted by a black metal touch.
The walk-in wardrobe follows the same linear theme soberly and has custom-made inbuilt handles in black complementing with light colour scheme of the wardrobe. The attached bathroom ornamentation gives a style statement of the class and resonates with elegant design features.
GUEST BEDROOM
The guest bedroom maintains elegant classic curved theme décor features and presents an organized relaxing space. A hue of different splashes over the furniture and furnishings enhances the interior decor. The curved theme armchair and a modern TV unit are highlighted by selected artefacts which also complement the interior décor of the bedroom. The same décor theme follows the walk-in wardrobe along with arched entrance and lighting fixtures adding dramatic effect in this area.
The house is a composition of various textures and finishes. The colours – subtle yet warm – liven the spaces. The different textures complement each other and create a soothing atmosphere. The different selected flooring creates a beautiful contrast with the user’s bedroom interior. Hanging lights and wardrobes are added to give a more elegant feel to aesthetics. Overall, the interior and exterior provide a serene and minimal comfortable ambience, giving the landscape a charming character.
