This apartment in Mumbai fits felicitously in the lines of modern luxury. Designed by Principal designer Ar. Atit Barbhaya of Atit Interiors the 1100 sq. ft residence meticulously echoes the personalities of its residents. The owners had a simple yet intriguing brief – it was simple and sublime, with contemporary furnishings. In response to creating spaces that acknowledge each individual, the designer opted for an “modern neoclassical” design-inspired narrative. This style is all about Blending classical elegance with contemporary simplicity, featuring clean lines, luxurious materials, and subtle ornamentation for a timeless and sophisticated aesthetic.
As one enters, the main door immediately leads footsteps to the living area with customized furniture and a brown-beige palette with a dash of vibrant hue. The open plan living and dining seamlessly merge to create a sense of largeness. Inside the glamorous living room, a customized sofa, statement artwork, marble finish tv unit, and metallic fittings look like a reminiscent of nature. Overall, the living and dining is opulence redefined in every sense setting a beautiful example of interior ornamentation.
The dining area further overlooks an urbane polished kitchen with sleek geometric lines giving the space chic expression. A cleverly integrated opening between the dining and kitchen areas doubles as a stylish serving counter, enhancing both functionality and aesthetics.
