The client’s brief was clear, design a luxurious and contemporary sales office for their pharmaceutical company within a 1200 sq ft space, emphasizing a sense of luxury without being overly extravagant. They wanted the office to embody their brand’s identity, so we chose their signature color, green, as the primary palette for the entire space.
The design style we pursued aimed for a blend of neatness and detail, with a contemporary flair that would elicit a “wow” reaction from visitors. Key inspirations revolved around creating a captivating first impression, with the ceiling serving as a focal point. We incorporated a singularity effect with lighting to draw attention, while green fluted walls with profile lighting added elegance and continuity throughout the space.
Spatial configuration was essential due to limited space and the need to accommodate multiple areas such as workstations, a conference room, reception area, and MD room. We organized the layout into distinct zones, with workstations and half cabins on one side and the MD room and conference room on the other, adjacent to the reception area. The MD room was designed to connect seamlessly with the conference room for convenience during meetings.
The initial design of the entrance ceiling was supposed to be a light installation of sorts, but budget constraints led us to design this ceiling, which turned out to work in our favour in the end. The design was adapted to work around this obstacle and maintain the desired flow, and design objective of the space.
Material palette primarily involved the use of POP (Plaster of Paris) for the fluted walls and ceiling due to its malleability and aesthetic appeal. Different shades of laminate are used in the MD room to create interest, without going overboard on the budget.
The strategic use of green as the dominant color added sparkle and cohesion to the project, enhancing the overall aesthetic and branding identity.
Our favorite design elements are the ceiling and fluted walls, which contribute to the office’s luxurious ambiance and visual interest, which is also the unique selling proposition (USP) of this project. The attention-grabbing design, which sets the tone for the entire space and leaves a lasting impression on visitors.
Overall, the project successfully combines luxury, functionality, and brand identity to create a stunning sales office that meets the client’s vision and exceeds expectations.
