Sculpted Calm | Sachin Design Studio | Mumbai
Located in the bustling city of Mumbai, Sculpted Calm by Sachin Design Studio reflects a delicate balance between restraint and refinement. Designed by Sachin Vaghadiya, Principal Designer, the 3BHK home spans 1,250 sq. ft. and embraces a language of quiet sophistication through material harmony and sculptural precision.

The residence is conceived as a study in restraint, detail, and tactility—where surfaces, forms, and lighting combine to create an atmosphere of quiet sophistication. Each space has been detailed with its own identity while contributing to a cohesive and unified aesthetic.

Entrance – Arched Elegance
The entrance sets the tone for the home with a hanging arch-shaped panel in fluted marble, a sculptural statement of artistry and refinement. Paired with a minimal shoe rack designed in plain and fluted finishes, the entryway balances functionality with visual appeal. Understated yet impactful, this entry sequence offers a refined prelude to the interiors that unfold beyond.

Living Room – Sculptural Layers
The living area is anchored by a striking TV wall crafted from 3D MDF panels finished in PU, introducing depth and texture. A thoughtfully designed ceiling integrates soft lighting, enhancing the calm ambience. Open display shelves with concealed illumination add functional elegance, while a console with a minimal yet bold profile contributes to the room’s refinement. A curated wall painting paired with mirrored panels expands the space visually, forming a sophisticated backdrop. Adding cultural resonance, a Shivaji art mural weaves history and identity into the contemporary narrative of the room.

Interior Lover team’s view on the Project
In Mumbai, Sculpted Calm by Sachin Design Studio spans 1,250 sq. ft. This 3BHK home, designed by the principal designer Sachin Vaghadiya, reflects calm elegance through thoughtful materials and subtle sculptural details. The interiors of Sculpted Calm unfold as a composition of balance and serenity, where every surface and element is designed to evoke tactile harmony. The palette leans toward neutral undertones and soft finishes, allowing natural textures to take precedence.

Clean silhouettes, fluted details, and subtle mouldings lend rhythm and dimension, while diffused lighting enhances the sense of calm. Furniture pieces feature rounded edges and minimal profiles, ensuring continuity across spaces without overwhelming the visual narrative. Art and mirrors are thoughtfully positioned to expand perception and introduce depth, complementing the interplay of shadow and light.

A consistent geometric language—seen through arches and sculptural forms—binds the residence together, creating visual coherence. The décor celebrates quiet luxury through refined material choices such as marble, PU finishes, and veneer, each layered with intentional restraint. Infused with warmth and timeless elegance, the home embodies Sachin Design Studio’s philosophy of crafting interiors that are understated yet expressive, functional yet poetic.

Kitchen – A White Canvas
The kitchen adopts an all-white palette, celebrating purity and clarity. White quartz countertops meet white back-painted glass shutters and PU matte-finished cabinets with concealed handles, creating seamless surfaces. A built-in oven niche enhances utility, while a sliding door with fluted glass defines the threshold—offering both privacy and textural interest.

Master Bedroom – Refined Minimalism
Defined by a dual-tone upholstered headboard set against a wall of subtle moldings, the master suite embodies modern calm. The molding detail continues to frame a full-length mirror beside the TV unit, establishing continuity and rhythm. Abstract art frames bring contemporary expression, while a softly lit niche beside the bed adds both mood and function. Storage is detailed with open shelves for display, blending utility with visual appeal. A recliner chair brings comfort, while the ceiling design complements the bedroom’s quiet sophistication.

Son’s Bedroom – Stone & Structure
The son’s bedroom embraces natural tactility with a dramatic stone wall backdrop, softly illuminated to highlight its veining. A full-height dressing mirror introduces verticality, while veneer-finished wardrobes with groove detailing add understated elegance. A compact study table with integrated lighting provides a clutter-free workspace, complemented by a storage unit with tinted glass shutters—balancing minimalism with efficiency.

Studio Room – Arched Geometry
Envisioned as a multifunctional retreat, the studio room is defined by an arched panel backdrop framing the sofa, adding sculptural softness. A sofa-cum-bed ensures adaptability, while wardrobes carry forward the arch motif for cohesion. Rounded-edge side tables and a capsule-shaped mirror with concealed storage extend the language of smooth geometry. A minimal study table paired with generous concealed storage makes the room ideal for both work and leisure.

Across the residence, subtle lighting, curated art, and tactile finishes shape an experience of calm, depth, and livability. The home embodies our studio’s ethos: to create spaces that are elegant yet timeless, minimal yet deeply expressive
