We began by understanding the functional demands coupled with our modern and refreshing interpretation defined by design, materiality and colour play.
When the project requires it, we accompany the draft of what we call a Moodboard or inspiration board in order to make the first composition of materials, colors and textures. Thus, we can better imagine the aesthetic scope of the proposal. Give the first skin to the skeleton represented by the draft.
We usually define it in a simple way, everything that falls if we turn the space upside down. We understand as a style line all the pieces of exempt furniture, textiles, works of art and various objects that together make up the decoration and style line of the home.
Sometimes with the distributive project, we have already seen some moodboard as a proposal to help make visible the style of the finishes of the distributive proposal. Despite this, it is when we have the distribution finished when we can refine the pieces of furniture and textile that will best fit the type of finishes.
Once inside, end user invited to engage with the play of materials and the spaces.
One part forms the living area which has more of a day lighting aesthetic while separating the private spaces with timber comb grooves polished ceiling accompanied by modern bespoke TV wall panel.
The furniture and lights were coordinated to reflect beauty customized wall panelling, ceiling design and soft furnishings. This project contributes to contemporary interior design practice through a more pared back, minimal approach to interior design.
This is through the use of a variety palette of materials that highlight the sculptural forms of spaces through minimal material change, with more focus on form, texture and light.
The concept was to embraced throughout all of the interior spaces and informed the selection of all interior materials, as well as the selection of furniture and art. The result is a soft, easy space in which to live.
The Lap of Grandeur is a soft, gentle space that provides seclusion and a space to retreat in our busy world. The tones of the interior design ensure that light and space are the priority for this family, provides a space that is both mindful and healthy.
A modern contemporary design signature mix of extravagant gleaming materials which emphasis blend with playfully proportioned lights and color play.
