An Illuminated House | Balaji Design Studio | Jalgaon
Luxury, royal, and clean with simple modernity are just a few of the defining characteristics of this wonderful flat that is located in Jalgaon, Maharashtra. This luxury project was completed by the talented teams from Balaji Design Studio led by two architects AR Yash Sheth, and AR Rasika Lohar. The firm has designed it in a way that allows the space to capture the surrounding views without compromising clients’ privacy. The use of vivid colors for furnishings not only adds to the visual delight but also accentuates the experiential aspects of the space by the designers.
The Principal Architects share that The interiors are a take on modernism, with clean and crisp lines yet opulent. The warm earthy palette of materials, textures, and colors is alluring and comforting to the eyes. The spaces are meticulously detailed to form a family of details that echo throughout the apartment implying a connection between spaces. Trendy shades are splashed here and there through furnishings that drape an abundant display of contemporary artworks.
ENTRANCE
Upon arrival, the combination of pastel tone and earthy elements gives the space a sense of subdued elegance. The entrance is marked by a massive door veneer finish with grid patterns complementing the ambiance. While a modern 3D decorative wall application gives a hint of the luxury interior ambiance. The planter gives an extraordinary charm to the entrance.
LIVING AREA
The living room exudes elegance through contemporary furnishings and an earthy tone palette, layered with modern furniture. This space is flooded with natural light throughout the day, creating a cheerful ambiance. Wood paneling with geometric patterns over the T.V. unit wall with white and mirror décor on the TV unit paneling actuates with the console unit. Modern grey elegant sofas and a center table accentuated with modern elements. While modern ceiling décor highlighted with wooden elements complemented by the modern chandelier. Designers smartly placed a rocking chair for reading and relaxation near the balcony.
DINING AREA
A dedicated wooden ceiling with a modern texture identifies the dining space giving it a warmer feeling with a contemporary setup. It sheds light on the custom-made Marble top Dining table whereas velvet upholstery chairs complement the dining table. Indoor plants placed in the corner add another layer of texture to the entire space. The lighting fixture adds a pleasing ambiance to the dining area décor.
MANDIR AREA
The mandir area is bright with a ‘white light’ which gives a sense of vernacularism achieved through the traditional cutting artwork done on the sober white panel. The mandir wall is highlighted with an idol related ornated. An adjacent wall of the mandir is emphasized with golden rods that well décor with lotus and leaves elements along with a marble background.
An eye-catchy element in the further zone is a traditional wooden swing which is well complemented by wooden ceiling décor. While the lightning fixture adds elegance to textured walls. A grey texture wall is highlighted by a Padmpani painting and artifacts.
MASTER BEDROOM
The master bedroom for the user explores a wooden elementary with unique decor. The versatile leatherette headboard and modern bed design bring a sense of elegance and warmth to the master bedroom. Wooden paneling with an antique touch of dark brown paneling complements the essence of the bedroom theme. A study area has been accommodated and connected with the sleek TV unit. The warm earthy palette of materials, textures, and colors is alluring and comforting to the eyes.
All the gracious bathrooms maintain the warmth and feeling of the house. A few personal touches offer a comfortable space for users. The selected flooring tiles give a rich appearance to the house floor and the bathroom floor too. Some amazing looks have been created on the walls through the different textures and cladded tiles on the walls in the bathrooms.
SECOND BEDROOM
The second bedroom for the client explores with pigment charcoal color and wood creating a geometrical pattern tangential to the wardrobe. A charcoal headboard with a different style and a modern wooden bed adds charm to this bedroom. While selected furnishings and blind curtains create an eye-soothing ornate. Modern elegant ceiling design and selected brown flooring complement each other pleasingly.
KID’S BEDROOM
The kid’s bedroom hits various striking color combinations and attractive shapes. The pastel color theme follows furniture and furnishings. Chariot wall art with paneling and a light purple headboard add charm to the décor. The study table and storage cabinet with cartoon characters complements the theme of the bedroom. While light fixtures add new characters to the décor elements. with the same theme washroom also design well the geometric shape of wall cladding tiles and scenery back painted glass for the wardrobe.
A dream house generally pictures all the family members enjoying, relaxing, and spending time together in a beautiful environment. This residence was inspired by such a derivation with luxurious interiors defining a new lifestyle. Modern furniture allows the users to perform several activities comfily as well as relax in a calm atmosphere. The use of wooden elements for the ceiling makes the area feel big and light at the same time. The appearance of patterns highlights the wall and inaugurates a relation with the overall lingo of the residence.
Balaji Design Studio was established by two architects Ar. Yash Sheth, and Ar. Rasika Lohar based in Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and Jalgaon, India.
