Chrysalis Designs an architecture and interior firm has nested this modern bungalow in a 6500 sq. ft., area that is well-ornated with touches of luxury with accent colours. “The Makeover Project” breathed new life into a 20-year-old bungalow, infusing it with modern chic design while preserving its inherent charm.
The Principal Designer, Isha Rane shares that The Makeover Project involves incorporating timeless elements, opulent materials, and elegant details that exude sophistication and refinement. Incorporate warm neutrals like ivory, taupe, and beige as a backdrop to enhance the richness of the colours for this residential project. The interiors, adorned with antique elements at every turn, showcase a meticulous curation that pays tribute to the villa’s inheritance. This endeavor accurately combined contemporary elegance with timeless allure, emphasizing open spaces, natural light, and sleek finishes throughout. Through a inclusive inspection, we safeguarded the bungalow’s structural integrity while optimizing its layout for a spacious ambiance.
ENTRANCE PASSAGE
By integrating wooden accents and design elements, form a splendid entrance passage that combines warmth, elegance, and functionality, setting the tone for a welcoming and stylish interior. Install wall-mounted sconces, with a decorative lighting fixture to illuminate the space and highlight the wooden framing features.
INFORMAL LIVING AREA
An informal living area interior involves creating a comfortable, relaxed, and inviting space where people can gather, and socialize in a casual setting. Choosing a cosy and comfortable leatherette sofa and armchairs with soft cushions well accentuated with a set of centre tables. A combination of ambient, and accent lighting fixtures for a wall and ceiling creates a comfortable and functional atmosphere. Incorporating wooden elements that strike a balance between comfort, functionality, and style. While artefacts create a welcoming and luxurious feeling in this interior space.
A see-through partition with a golden accent in geometrical patterns balances the overall aesthetic of the space. The living room metamorphosed into a cozy yet contemporary haven, featuring plush luxury seating accented by touches of gold and marble. FORMAL LIVING AREA
A luxurious formal living area involves creating an elegant, sophisticated, and visually stunning space that is perfect for entertaining guests and hosting formal gatherings. A rich and refined colour palette featuring hues like deep colour, golden accents, and ivory for modern sofas and centre tables in this living area. A grand and ornate chandelier is a focal point in the living area to create a sense of drama and luxury with a dark colour palette ceiling.
Selected decorative accents in golden hues, and antique collectables artefacts to add elegance and charm. Eye-soothing curtains exude elegance, sophistication, and timeless beauty, making them a stunning interior pleasant. A neutral color palette was enlivened with daring splashes of color and patterns, harmonizing with opulent materials like marble, wood, and metal that exuded luxury and sophistication.
DINING AREA
An exclusive dining area with a marble-top dining table can create a sophisticated and elegant ambience. A stylish and sturdy golden hue base for the dining table that complements the marble top. While the classic selection of dining chairs adds elegance to the interior décor. A statement chandelier above the dining table creates a focal point and enhances the luxurious feel. Whereas wall ornamentation complements the style of the dining area with warm lighting fixtures.
STAIRCASE
A modern marble staircase would be a striking and unique architectural feature in this residence. Marble in a vibrant colour incorporated with sleek and minimalist railing maintains a contemporary look and allows the marble steps to be the focal point. KITCHEN AREA
A spacious and modular kitchen interior with a cream and off-white combination can create a spacious, bright, besides timeless aesthetic. MASTER BEDROOM

A tropical-themed wallpaper and purple shades daughter’s bedroom with a walk-in wardrobe sounds like a vibrant and luxurious space. Balcony doors let in plenty of natural light during the day, and sheer curtains in a light, airy fabric gently sway in the breeze.
