‘URBANE’ is an office project designed by Priyanki Patel Designs an architectural design studio, led by Principal Architect Ar. Priyanki Patel. Located in Vadodara, Gujarat, this 3000 Sq.ft. workspace is crafted for the prestigious real estate group ‘RAAMAH’ developers. ‘URBANE’ workspace embodies sophistication, comfort, and charm, reflecting a minimalistic design approach that integrates timeless materials with modern simplicity.
The office accommodates six directors and other executives, encompassing a well-defined reception area, three distinctive director cabins, an accounts department, additional executive cabins, and a conference room designed for ten people. The design prioritizes a balance between formal elegance and a welcoming atmosphere.
Entrance / Foyer
The entrance sets a refined tone with its sleek linear elements and a formal sofa juxtaposed against a striking curved reception table. The modestly designed console unit, featuring a focal ‘Nandi’ sculpture, aligns with the client’s vision, making a memorable first impression.
Reception
A bold, curved reception desk commands attention in the reception area, harmoniously paired with vertical wooden members and a series of pergola at the ceiling. This setup creates a perfect balance of visual interest and functional elegance, embodying the sophisticated essence of the space.
The Passage
The passage features bespoke wooden benches and strategically placed accents, including custom-made artwork. These elements create a visually engaging and comfortable waiting experience, reinforcing the office’s aesthetic and functional harmony.
Conference Room
The conference room is designed with a modest yet impactful scheme of classic grey, wood, and white elements. The highlight is a series of vertical column-like members extending to the ceiling, which ingeniously conceal storage and house a puja unit. This design choice not only maximizes functionality but also adds a touch of subtle grandeur.
Director Cabins
Each director cabin features a distinct theme, blending unique design elements with bespoke furnishings to reflect individual character and authority. The cabins showcase the creative use of materials and art, ensuring both a personalized atmosphere and a professional environment. Each of the three director cabins has its unique character:
Room of Barrels
This cabin features a 13-foot table crafted from wood and stone, supported by wooden barrel legs and metal screens with sleek perforations. The classic wood and grey palette, complemented by curated artworks, injects the right amount of energy and authority into the space.
Room of Twin Tables
This cabin showcases two large, identical tables made from wood and stone, each detailed with wooden accents. The visual symmetry of these tables is complemented by geometrical and accent artworks that adorn the walls, creating a cohesive and engaging work environment.
Room of Squares
With its timeless grey and wood tones, this cabin is accentuated by a mauve sofa with a sleek, linear design. A hidden alternate-access door is cleverly integrated into a minimalistic wooden panel, maintaining the cabin’s understated elegance.
